The property is located in Porto Badisco, an old fisher's village where you can eat incredibly fresh sea urchins; Otranto, beautiful small town full of attractions, is 10 km away and Santa Cesarea Terme, famous for the thermal waters, is only 6 km away.
The 50 mq apartment is near to the main villa but it is completely independent, with the entrance from the garden and reserved parking space.
It has one bedroom with a double bed, a wardrobe room, a bathroom, a living area with two single sofa beds and a small but fully equipped kitchen.
The garden has private areas for the owners and for the guests; the guests can use the solarium, the gazebo and the barbecue areas; the pool is shared with the owners.
From the property there is a direct access to the blue and clear sea; the coastline is characterized by rocky cliffs, with some "calette" that make easy to go into the water.
This is the right place for people who love uncontaminated nature and peace, but also shopping and night life at few kilometers away.

Our stay at Caterina home was truly unforgettable. We were a group of four, and from the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The outdoor space...view, garden, pool, pergola....simply spectacular! Our hosts were awesome and the communication was great. Attentive, gave us the low down of the area, made dinner reservations simply good peple to work with. The accomodations had all the basic necessities in what can only be described as a quirky little cottage. Over we loved our time here.

La Fraula week

Thank you Caterina and Patrizio for this wonderful stay . Hosts were wonderful as well as their hidden little gem in Porto Badisco . Sea view from morning to night in their perfect neat garden . Will definitely go back and recommend their lovely warm comfortable flat

What a beautiful place to stay!!

We spent a wonderful week in La Fraula in Caterina's house. The place has a splendid view and beautiful pool. I can't wait to come back again to enjoy it some more. Caterina was a perfect hostess. We were welcomed with delicious delicaties typical of the region. She was also very helpful with tips for restaurants and supermarkets in the area, and even offered us to join her family in a nearby village. A perfect place to stay on holiday!

Very nice house with a fantastic pool and view on to the sea

We enjoyed our stay in La Fraula, very close to Porto Badisco. The house is clean, very well located with an excellent pool, a very nice garden with tables in the shadow and an open kitchen equipped with a well-functioning plancha. The landlady Caterina is very friendly and helpful and can give good advises. Porto Badisco is just 5 min walk away, with a few bars and restaurants (Pizzeria Skile is worth to try, good food and excellent "Italian atmosphere"). We enjoyed our stay in Apulia and would come again to stay in Catariana's house.

An enchanting, exquiste property with complete privacy; once in a lifetime experience!

The property is beautiful, charming, and private- perfect for a romantic getaway. Caterina is the perfect hostess. She was attentive to our needs without ever being intrusive. She has a lovely and sweet disposition. The home was very clean with many options for seating, and relaxing. Having the use of a private pool was a perfect addition to this wonderful seaside villa. The villa is located within a short distance of several charming villages and towns, which provided fun day trips, and shopping. Many things to see and do! We loved it!

Beautiful Location

ProsBeautiful location, with fantastic views, mature, large and interesting garden, very private, not overlooked. Pool was great, very deep in places. The outdoor dining area was lovely and well thought out with a grill plate (not a bar b q) for cooking. Lots of places for sun bathing, and quiet shady areas. Great outdoor shower, solar heated with just enough heat for one warm shower. The water heats up again quickly. Inside it is comfortable, minimalistic, and adequate, with bathroom (shower only) and small kitchen. Porto Badisco is approximately a 10 minute walk away but along a winding road with no pavement. There are three average restaurants and an excellent bar. The main house is the owner's holiday home, with our accommodation as an annex and the garden is shared with them. During our 13 night stay the owners visited 3 times and were very discreet, but very helpful and friendly, and provided lots of information. Great location for exploring PugliaCons:-The pool attracts many flies (dead ones) and needs cleaning (with net provided) often - quite enjoyed it!. The road running past the villa appears to be some sort of unofficial racetrack for motor cyclists - can appreciate the attraction as it is a winding hill with great views, and they go to the top and back again, repeatedly! - takes several minutes. It be very noisy though, particularly at week ends. There is even a line on the road with 'START' written - in English. No wi-fi.Will definitely visit again.

Caterina und ihr Mann bekommen von uns 10 von 10 Punkten. Die Anlage war sehr gepflegt und unsere Unterkunft sauber. Die Outdoorküche und die Outdoordusche war eines unserer Highlights und natürlich der wunderbare Pool und Blick auf's Meer. Den einzigen gravierenden Kritikpunkt sehen wir an der " Motorradstrecke" direkt vor dem Haus. Besonders am Wochenende ist nicht mal eine Unterhaltung möglich. Sehr laut und wirklich irgendwann unerträglich.

Séjour confortable et de qualité

Caterina est une hôte disponible et très accueillante. La villa est charmante avec une piscine hors norme et fantastique ! Les ingrédients sont réunis pour un séjour au calme de grande qualité. Soggiorno in villa Porto Badisco

Durante la nostra settimana di vacanza a Porto Badisco, abbiamo avuto il piacere di soggiornare in una casa vacanza che ha superato tutte le nostre aspettative. La posizione era semplicemente perfetta: a pochi passi dal mare, ci ha permesso di goderci la bellezza della costa pugliese senza doverci preoccupare degli spostamenti. La casa stessa era estremamente funzionale e ben attrezzata, con tutti i comfort necessari per una vacanza rilassante. Gli spazi erano ben organizzati, puliti e accoglienti, rendendo ogni giorno un vero piacere. Un ringraziamento speciale va alla proprietaria, che si è dimostrata incredibilmente disponibile e gentile. Sin dal nostro arrivo, ci ha fatto sentire come a casa, rispondendo prontamente a ogni nostra esigenza e offrendoci consigli utili per esplorare al meglio la zona. Se cercate un luogo dove rilassarvi e godervi il mare in Puglia, questa casa vacanza a Porto Badisco è sicuramente la scelta giusta. Non vediamo l'ora di tornare!

Fantastisch verblijf

Wij hebben een heerlijke week gehad in dit verblijf. We hebben genoten van de ruimte, het grote diepe zwembad, de rust, het uitzicht op de zee. Vanuit het huis loop je zo naar de zee (rotsstrand) en kun je fijn zwemmen. Zelfs een dolfijn gespot. Caterina is een fijne host en erg behulpzaam. Ze gaf ons goede tips voor restaurantjes en parkeren. In het huis is airco wat erg fijn is om goed te kunnen slapen. Van harte aanbevolen als je van rust, ruimte en uitzicht houdt.

Una piscina fantastica

La villa si trova a Porto Badisco, dove la costa si fa rocciosa, affascinante ma di difficile accesso, per cui la possibilità della piscina è stata una salvezza! Una villa costruita forse anni ‘70 dal padre della proprietaria , pure architetto, con molta attenzione ai materiali e alle piante del territorio. Appartamento su diversi livelli e giardino degradante comportano gradini di collegamento. Proprietari molto disponibili e anche simpatici, grazie dell’accoglienza!

Havre de paix avec une vue magnifique

Famille de 4 avec 2 ados. Appartement respectant le descriptif, propre et bien entretenu. Piscine très grande, profonde pour les plongeons. Magnifique jardin avec vue sur la mer, calme en accompagner des chants de cigales. Cuisine extérieur avec patio. Bains de soleil bien exposés vue sur mer. Baignade possible en mer à côté de la location (2min à pieds) prévoir chaussures d’eau car rochers. Porto Badisco est à 5 min à pieds : bar, restaurants et petite supérette, traiteur à emporter et marchand ambulant. Caterina est très serviable, disponible rapidement par WhatApps, parlant italien et anglais. Nous y sommes restés 1 semaine : notre havre de paix. 😍

Magnifique vue sur mer , acceuil,calme,piscine eclectique et toutes facilites a proximite.

Nous avons été acceuillis avec beaucoup de gentillesse et d attention. Les extérieurs sont super entretenus et bien concus: jardins, terrasse superbement couverte, beau mobilier de jardin super piscine , magnifique vue mer, en face la cote ALbanaise. A cinq minutes a pied: Porto Badisco et l etablissement Carlo ou vous pouvez tout trouver, boire un verrre, manger italien, emporter italien.. Que du bon. A cinq minutes en voiture plusieurs Agriturismo avec bel acceuil, bien manger sans casser sa tirelire. Sans oublier la tres belle route cotiere vers Otranto, promenez vous dans ses ruelles, visiter absolument sa cathedrale et plus particulièrement son tapis de pierres. Visite gratuite.Retournez a Porto Badisco vous reposer sur les rochers et plonger dans une mer Azur.
