Escape to our spacious 5-bedroom, 4-bath townhome in the charming Village of Point Venture on Lake Travis, just 20 miles northwest of Austin in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. Perfect for families and groups, this retreat offers a seamless blend of comfort, views, and adventure. A private boat dock is available when the lake level reaches 670 feet. (see Note*)

Inside, you'll find a fully stocked kitchen with modern appliances, two dining areas on the main level, and inviting living spaces designed for gathering. Step out onto the main deck to grill on the Weber gas grill and enjoy meals with relaxing lake views. The home includes Wi-Fi, five smart TVs with YouTube TV, two DVD players, and a Nintendo game console for all-ages entertainment.

Downstairs, challenge friends to ping pong in the game room or relax in the additional living area. Traveling with little ones is easy with provided baby gates, a travel crib, and a booster seat for a safe and comfortable stay.

Guest enjoy access to Point Venture's numerous amenities, including a 9-hole golf course, tennis and pickleball courts, swimming pool, gym, and library. The private park offers a playground, 9-hole frisbee golf course, sand volleyball, basketball courts, a sandy beach when lake levels are low, and a private boat ramp. Park and amenity access is provided via keycards (see Note**).

Spacious and Comfortable

The beds were very comfortable and we had everything we needed for a relaxing family get a way. We enjoyed the board games and the teenagers loved the ping pong table.

Great Point Venture Townhome

Eight family members enjoyed our stay during the 2024 Eclipse. The home was well kept and comfortable with all the kitchen facilities we needed for our group. Short walk to pool gym dock and restaurant. Hosts were very easy to work with. Glad we came!

We enjoyed the stay. Had to get with the Host once on a minor issue. They responded quickly and courteously. The accomodations are wonderful. The amenities are close by. The kids loved the house as well as the adults. You won't be disappointed!

Family gathering

We had a family gathering for Thanksgiving. There were several different age groups and the space worked very well. The pictures made the living area look larger than it actually was but it did accommodate all of us. There were a lot of dishes and accessories that were really appreciated. There were some spices available. We had a great stay.

Beautiful spacious home

This is our second time back to this home and we fall in love with it more every time. It is big and spacious for our large family. The neighborhood has amazing views and is really quiet and private. The hosts are great at communicating with you. They are very helpful and their response time is great.

Family Christmas

The house was located in a nice area that was close to where my other family members were staying. It is a bit older - lots of wood and mirror walls throughout the home- but was clean. Everything worked as expected and the owners were terrific to work with us. They even put up lovely holiday decorations. We noticed an odd smell in one of the bedrooms that might have been related to an animal of some sort.

Great Place for July 4th

Our family of 10 planned this back in November and we were so glad that we did. We all had more than adequate room to spread out and so enjoyed the dock and swimming, etc. We were able to watch fireworks from the top balcony on July 4th, which was such a treat. Saw lots of deer, even the black doe, and just had a beautiful family trip together. Ricki was very gracious and helpful. Hope future guests enjoy their stay as much as we did.

Great stay

Easy check in. Everything worked out great. We had to really look for the check out instructions, but found them under "damages". There wasn't water in this finger of the lake, but that was okay (and the owners told us upfront about it). Lots of stairs, lots of bathrooms!

Jamie and Ricki are brother and sister and our families have always enjoyed doing things together, especially water sports. We loved the idea of a place big enough and with plenty of bedrooms for our families to get together. We just love coming to the lake, relaxing, hanging out with family and enjoying the lake, grilling and fishing.

Why they chose this property

Lake Travis is one of the most beautiful lakes in TX and we love the TX Hill country. We chose Point Venture because it is on the North side of the lake and closer to Cedar Park where Jamie and Mary live. The cove we are in is so nice and peaceful and has beautiful sunrises. Point Venture offers so many wonderful amenities like a 9-hole golf course, Swimming pool, Tennis courts, Pickle Ball courts, Exercise Gym, Library, private 50-acre park with Frisbee Golf, basketball court, Volleyball net, playground, covered pavilion, boat launch, and fuel dock at the Captain Pete's Boathouse floating restaurant.
