Wonderful house with a great host. Our weekend was great and that was made possible by Joy being so responsive and attentive as a host. She will go out of her way to make sure your time here is as perfect as possible. The only think I would say to those thinking about staying is that the walk down to the lake dock is not for the faint of heart. It is quite steep.The connection from the land onto the dock is also a little tricky. The house is wonderful and you will have a great time.

We spent 4 days here for a birthday getaway and it was absolutely perfect for our group of nine. The refrigerator was big, the cabinets had everything we needed to make meals, and we got to use both the grill and the fire pit. Joy made sure that we had firewood, firewood, propane, and even a few things to make smores when we arrived.The pathway to the river is steep, but we did walk down. Mostly, we used the hot tub and the pool, which we asked her to heat for us. Every question was answered quickly and in the most helpful way. The checkout process was smooth, and we had plenty of time.We were able to connect a laptop to the living room TV by HDMI cable, which was wonderful for both games and movies.While it did take a few minutes for the showers to get hot, once they did we had plenty of hot water for the entire group to take turns showering.Based on other reviews, we walked next door to the Farmers Market on Sunday. What is delightful find! I can see why so many people return to this property every year. The home was lovely, enjoy was a delight to work with.

Joy was a very responsive and amazing host, we had some concerns early on that were quickly addressed. We have stayed in 5 different VRBO's and Joy blew them all away. Wouldn't think twice about booking or staying there again. Consistently went above and beyond even before we arrived and continued throughout the visit. Had 4 adults and 3 teenagers and everyone had their space when needed. Thanks again and we all had a great time.

This house was absolutely amazing! It was much larger than I expected! The bedrooms were large and the beds were all comfortable. The kitchen was equipped with everything you needed and open to the living area. Sitting on the large, covered patio overlooking the pool and hot tub was amazing! The lawn was well manicured and we enjoyed the fire pit every evening. It was so calming and beautiful taking in all of God’s nature and beauty. The house was perfect! Joy and her sons were honestly the best part! They were so easy to communicate with and made our stay comfortable and perfect! They totally went out of their way to accommodate our requests! They were always very kind and quick to help in any way no matter what we requested. Our time spent there was stress free, relaxing and perfection! I absolutely recommend this beautifully decorated home and all it has to offers! You won’t be disappointed!

Memorial Day Reunion!

Perfect stay for our Memorial Day reunion trip for two families of college friends - 4 adults and 4 kids (all 9 and under). Really enjoyed the pool/spa and running around the large property. Perfect Getaway

This home was perfect for our quick family getaway. Our group included 3 generations and there was something for everyone. The kids enjoyed the pool and game room while the adults enjoyed the home and scenic views while the kids were occupied. We also enjoyed the local distillery and local winery. We hope to visit again!
