The apartment has a tourist license, so please note that at the time of your arrival you will have to pay the tourist tax (€ 1.00 per person and night of accommodation), which the host is required to present to the competent administrative body (Generalitat de Catalunya).

The tourist tax is applied for staying in a tourist establishment or accommodation, and not for the fact of being a foreign tourist. So the national tourists must pay it as well.

On the other hand, the host will take photos of the identification documents of the guests (ID or passport), in order to register them in the Police Registry, in accordance with the Organic Law for the Protection of Citizen Security.
