Property was great for the size of our family and was very comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub and game room and it was in close proximity to Banner Elk, winery and restaurants. My only complaint would be that because we have such a large family it was easier for us to stay in and cook rather than going out. The pots and pans need to be replaced as a lot of the Teflon was wearing off, the refrigerator did not have a working ice maker and gas logs did not work. The mattresses were all a little hard, but we made do. Brooke and Red were wonderful hosts and all in all we enjoyed our stay.

Place was perfect for our family celebrating our daughter’s wedding at WhIte Crow (less than 10 min away). Beds were comfortable. Hot tub wasn’t clean so we didn’t get to use it.

Had we known there was an issue with the hot tub, we would have had our service company come out right away to address it. Me and mamas cabin was amazing. It was easy to get to the directions were right on point. No problem checking in or out. The cabin is everything the website says. The towns near by are amazing. It snowed when we were there so we too advantage and went snow tubing. We visited Grand Father mountain and did the mountain coaster. There are so many attractions near by. I would definitely stay there again.

Large open layout was perfect for our large family getaway! The additional living room/game room downstairs, that also connected to patio with hot tub was great for hanging out all together. The area and home was beautiful. Host were very responsive as well!

We stayed here for a family get-together for a week and everyone had a super time. The location was convenient to places we wanted to go and the house was just as it was pictured. We loved the pool table and ping pong -even had a tournament with fabulous prizes!!Brooke and Red were also quick to reply when I had any questions.

Great mountain getaway

Amazing Stay!

What an amazing place for families! We had 3 families with kids ranging from 13-24 and everyone loved the house. The game room was so fun and the deck was so great for socializing and relaxing. We made meals and the kitchen was very easy to use. So close to so many attractions we will be back for sure!!
