We were in town for the Lees McRae College Homecoming/Family weekend visiting my daughter. The house is absolutely beautiful and convenient to downtown Banner Elk, Sugar and Beech Mountain. It came with everything we needed and the views were stunning! Our only issue was getting the outdoor fireplace to work, which would have been great with the cooler weather. Maintenance did show up on Saturday morning but was unable to fix the problem. There was a small firepit on the side of the house, so we ran out and purchased some wood and made our own on Friday evening. Highly recommend this house, especially if you have a larger party.
The house and views were amazing! We’ve stayed in Boone my entire life and this was probably the prettiest house. Nothing could really beat the back deck with the hot tub and cool breeze. The house was decorated perfect for a mountain house! My only issue was the room with the two queen beds was so hot you almostCouldn’t sleep in it because it has a seperate AC unit, the problem wasn’t fixed for an entire five days so others had to move out of that room to sleep together in the other beds. We feel it should have been resolved immediately as I mentioned it the first day not five days later. But that being said I’m sure that only happened because we were the first guests. I would Definitely stay here again next summer!
