A truly one of a kind Silver Lake vacation rental. Walk out onto the dune sand beach with over 80' of lake frontage and no road to cross to get there! Whether you are seeking rest and relaxation or activities and adventure, our home offers all that you are looking for and more! Our 1,800 square foot home, built in 2002, offers open concept living/dining/kitchen area with 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths, and has been meticulously maintained. Over 80’ of lake frontage awaits you! Enjoy a glass of wine from our spacious Trex deck while watching the sunset, or take in the sunrise at the lake's edge with a cup of coffee. Take one of our kayaks on a 3 min. ride over to the sand dunes and layout on a private beach. Cast a line off the end of our private dock and catch walleye, bass, northern pike, blue gill, and black crappie. Silver lake is renowned for its clear water, sandy bottom, and 2,000 acre sand dunes, which are conveniently located right next to our home. We have all the comforts and conveniences of home as our house is equipped with a brand new dishwasher, washer/dryer, dock and bath towels.

This is our third family vacation at this property and we will be coming back again next year! The house has everything you need for a great family vacation. The location is perfect - steps from the sand, lake, dock, and sand dunes. It has a very private and quiet feel and is still only minutes from the various activities in the area. Highly recommended!

This house has the best location in my opinion. You can walk to the dunes, swim in the lake in your backyard, rent boats, ride the ORV area. The house has all of the essentials you need, we have been able to pack light because it has everything you need. Look forward to staying again!

Great Family Vacation Spot!

Family had a great experience at this property. The house was clean and comfortable, and host was quick to respond to any questions. The outdoor space was excellent with a big deck, sandy beach, waterfront, and dock along with a closet full of sand toys. This is our second stay at the property and certainly will not be our last!

Best location

The house has the best rental location on Silver Lake. Pure sand on the beach with access to the dunes also. Never had to use our car the whole week. The house was beautiful and the amenities inside were wonderful. Sunsets on the dunes are breathtaking and right out your back door. Don't forget to hike over to Lake Michigan, with it's gorgeous views too. Take a dip if you dare, a little chilly, but worth doing. We stayed in about 15 minutes and was comfortable this year. Thanks again to our host, will be back again.

Had the best time at this house! Matt was a fantastic host and very responsive. The house is very clean and in the best location. Everything you need for a perfect beach day is available. Also the pack and play and toys for the kids were amazing.

Relaxing Trip

Stayed for 5 days during Christmas at this location, very quiet and peaceful with serene outdoors. Can walk on the beach or explore dunes. The house is well maintained and fully stocked, including things for toddlers . Will return someday.

Life is a beach !!!!

Check out the front yard, nothing but beach,...one can get use to this,....quick I might add. Top notch accommodations, close to the dunes, beach and water, what more do I need to say. Except we will be back for more.

Amazing Lake House

The home is amazing. With lakefront access, and close proximity to dune and water sports, this was the perfect house. The owner was extremely helpful and attentive to all our needs. The home is warm and inviting and so easy to “chill” by the lake, play bags in the sand, hang out by the lake, or take a dip off the new dock. Highly recommended by our family, perfectly located next to the dunes with phenomenal neighbors, it is the very best.

GREAT BEACH VACATION

My family and I stayed here for a week this summer and it was wonderful. The house was clean, and FULLY stocked with everything you could need. Just like you can see in the pictures the sand was very clean and the water at the dock was perfect for little kids to play in. Zero seaweed. With the house so close to the dunes you can walk to them by the water in less than a minute. We had the best time staying here. You can also get to the beach at Lake Michigan in less than 10 minutes. It was by far our best trip to Silver Lake because of this house.

A Piece Of Paradise

We loved everything about this property. The home was so clean it looked new and it smelled nice. The open floor plan on the main floor with all the windows to look at the lake and dunes was spectacular! The 2 bedrooms upstairs have a great view as well! The private beach with the sand right off the deck all the way to the lake was awesome! Nothing like having your toes in the sand! The house was stocked with everything we needed plus some and the location can't be better! The lake, the dunes, the State Parks, The Chicken Shack, lol, its all right there! We were sad when our week was over and didn't want to leave, but now we are looking forward until we can go back and enjoy it once again.

Duneside Paradise!

This cottage and its location were absolutely perfect for our 3-generation family get away. I have vacationed at Silver Lake since I was a child in the 1960’s, then our children fell in love with it in the 1980’s, now our grandchildren have experienced the wonder of it since 2015. This cottage is by far THE BEST of all the ones I have stayed in. It’s right next to the dunes with a small cove for swimming and kayaking just in front of cottage, there’s a large sandy expanse between deck and water. The cottage was spacious, clean and well designed. Matt was great to do business with, policies were clearly communicated, essentials were all provided. 5 stars!

Scenic Views, Lovely Home

Property is beautiful! Home was clean and nicely furnished. Plenty of outdoor activities such as floats, sand toys, kayaks, bonfire ring, etc. Only real downside is if the surrounding properties are rented out it is busy, with no privacy and parking is very tight (like climbing through the back of the Tahoe to get in the drivers seat tight). We brought 3 larger vehicles and a boat which we cleared with the owner, but the individuals of the other properties expressed annoyance about the boat, which we all decided we definitely would not bring again. Communication with owner was excellent, he was very responsive, helpful, and kind.

Perfect lake view!

Had a great family vacation here. The house is well equipped and most importantly very clean. We cooked in several nights since we had an 11 month old. The pots and pans etc were in excellent condition. The view of the lake can not be beat and can be enjoyed from the living area and kitchen as well as from the large deck. Adirondack chairs (not cheap plastic ones) were comfortable and perfect for enjoying the fire pit. Kayaks were great for enjoying the lake. There were a couple houses that were directly beside and behind us. Had they been filled with people it would have felt a little too close for our taste. There is a 150 foot sand dune a few houses from this property. Overall this is a great place for a lakeside getaway.

When we decided to begin searching for a lake house I looked at every home in the lower peninsula Michigan and nothing had what this house has. A beautiful beach on a beautiful lake with a home that has that "Northern Michigan" feel. The fact that the world renown Silver Lake Sand Dunes were a short walk away really sealed the deal.
