- Just a short walk from Rue Sainte-Catherine, Place Pey Berland and the Saint Michel district. You'll find all the shops, restaurants and bars you need.
- Below the building is the Musée d'Aquitaine, which houses objects and documents relating to the history of Bordeaux and Aquitaine, from prehistory to the present day. Administratively, it groups together the Centre Jean Moulin de Bordeaux and the Musée Goupil, whose collection it preserves.
- Other districts in the historic centre: Saint-Pierre, Sainte-Colombe, Saint-Michel and Sainte-Croix
- Flea markets (Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and especially Sunday mornings) or second-hand dealers.
