This house was SO CUTE. I loved that the home was historical. The host stocked it with everything you would ever need. We loved coming back to comfortable beds, a full kitchen, and a pool to dip your feet in. Highly recommend this place.

We had such an amazing stay here. The architecture and charm of the property completely won us over. It has so much character, but still feels fresh, clean, and thoughtfully designed.The house was incredibly well stocked. Every little thing we needed was already there, which made the whole trip feel effortless. You can tell the host truly cares about the guest experience. They were attentive, responsive, and made everything seamless from check-in to check-out.One of our favorite parts was getting to meet the other guests staying in the cottages. It added such a fun, welcoming vibe to the stay.Everything about this place felt easy and special. I’m already excited knowing we found our go to spot in West Palm and will absolutely be staying here again. Highly recommend.

Very pleasant stay

Our family really enjoyed our stay here. It is centrally located nicely between the West Palm beach downtown and also Rivera Beach/Singer Island. Very cozy and quaint place located in a nice quiet neighborhood. If ever coming back to this area, we will definitely try to stay at this VRBO listing again.

Beautiful, Clean & charming property

We loved our stay. The home has everything you need to have a wonderful stay. We grilled on the first night, cooked on the second night and enjoyed the pool everyday. Just a wonderful get away and perfect spot to visit students at Palm Beach Atlantic University.

A wonderful stay

The home was very comfortable, attractive, clean and well-maintained, and the nicely landscaped pool area was a great place to swim and relax. Ferney is an excellent host. He provided all of the information we needed upon our arrival, and was highly responsive when we had questions and requests. The house is located in the Old Northwood neighborhood which is a great place to visit with its many historical homes and proximity to downtown West Palm Beach and Palm Beach. We would happily stay there again on our next visit to West Palm Beach and would recommend the property without reservation.

Overall, the home was charming and quaint. Easy to get to and park. The home has a great mix of original rustic feel with upgrades to kitchen and bathrooms. Home was very clean and had right amount of dishes, basics and a few extras to keep us comfortable. One call out is the furniture in the living areas has changed. Not modern like the pictures, in fact quite older. There was a musty smell entering the home but would subside a bit once the AC was going. Also, someone came to trim trees in back yard on Sunday morning before 8a. Noise woke us up.

Perfect WPB stay

My colleague and I traveled into town to photograph a wedding in Jupiter FL. I wanted a place that would offer us each our own bedroom and bathroom and space to unwind. The pool sealed the deal. Ferney and his wife were so kind, communicative and helpful. The spaces were clean and comfortable. My name is Ferney Lopez and my wife (Geovanna) and I love to travel. If I were to retire today I would spend most of my time traveling and trying different foods from around the world. Since I can't afford that luxury yet, I'm a web designer/graphic designer by trade. My wife is a paralegal and real estate agent.

Why they chose this property

We have stayed in enough places to know what people like and want from their vacation experience. When we purchased Vieja Escuela we knew that it would be a success because its proximity to the airport, downtown, restaurants, beach and other entertainment venues. We fell in love with the charm and character of this house and wanted to turn it into a vacation paradise. What gives this home its character are all the rustic features and decor to match it. We understand that many people want to experience the latest technology and shiny new floors and amenities, but there's something about the imperfections of old home that make it alluring.

What makes this property unique

The proximity to shops, entertainment and restaurants make this place a great choice for families. We have paid attention to detail when selecting the furniture so that it would compliment the Spanish-style home. The pool renovation has really brought the house to life so that our guests can enjoy Florida's beautiful weather.
