Three steps lead down from the bedrooms to the rest of the property. The sunny sitting room has comfy chairs and a cosy log burning stove. There are plenty of magazines and books in the bookcase, along with local maps, walking books and holiday suggestions. The conservatory is the perfect place to relax, overlooking the private patio garden, with French doors leading to the sheltered sunny terrace where you can enjoy Al Fresco dining among the pretty flowering pots, perfect for relaxing afternoons on the sunbeds or evening BBQ's around the fire pit. The open plan kitchen overlooks the pretty garden, and is well equipped with new dishwasher, electric oven, hob and fridge/freezer. The bathroom has bath with shower, heated towel rail and washer/dryer machine. Whether your holiday is with family or friends, for beach holidays or an out of season walking break, Birdsong will make the perfect holiday retreat.

It was a pleasure to come home to Birdsong each evening. It is beautifully decorated, the beds are so comfortable and it had everything we needed. Highly recommended and we will be back. It is well located in a quiet village close to Padstow and Wadebridge. So much to see and do in the local area. Brilliant!
Birdsong was exactly as described and had everything you needed for your stay. The bedrooms were so quirky and different, loved them. Sadly the weather wasn't on our side so we didnt get to sit in the beautiful garden. The cream tea was an added treat, thank you Jane.
Would absolutely love to visit again in the future.
Beautiful cottage and secluded garden in a lovely village a few miles outside of Padstow. The cottage is furnished very nicely, is immaculate and has everything needed for a self catering holiday. The trailers ( bedrooms) are so quaint giving the cottage a quirky romantic feel, as described. We took our dogs ( cottage is dog friendly) and enjoyed long walks along the Camel trail into Padstow as well as visiting other areas of Cornwall . Highly recommended 👌

Thank you for reviewing your holiday and it's great that you will be returning in 2016.
This is the second time i have stayed at Bird Song aka The Trailers. It is a great location with local pub within walking distance, fantastic beaches for dogs with great walks too. Major supermarkets are 5 mins away for all your daily groceries and Padstow just 10 mins away. The cottage is very comfortable for two with a small dog, garden enclosed and safe. Would definately recommend and will return next year again. Thanks to Jane for the great welcome and Cornish Cream Tea. :)

Lovely cosy retreat
Arrived after a 5 1/2 hour journey down from Yorkshire to Hot Cross Buns & Easter Eggs! A lovely welcome gesture! Absolutely loved this quirky cosy place, it has a very homely feel and has everything you need including kindling for the log burner. We even managed to sunbathe in the lovely little garden on the first day before the storms came. The Pickwick Inn does excellent meals and the Trailers is an excellent base to explore Cornwall which included Rick Steins Seafood Restaurant in Padstow, Newquay, Eden Project,Lands End and the amazing Minack Theatre. Will definitely return, hope the sun shines next time!

Very unusual sleeping in shepherds huts which had been well preserved and included everything you needed without losing their originality or character. Very pretty little garden which was a delight to spend time in. Wonderful pub in St Isssy (the ring o bells) which served excellent home cooked food. Our host Jane was very helpful. May come again.
Great property adjoining the two shepherd huts with everything you could want (there's a lot packed away in the cupboards, even baking equipment), nice bathroom, lovely conservatory and a sunny private back garden.
Excellent comms from the owner right from booking to sorting out any issues (a dead toaster and another triviality), very friendly, suggested things to do as well - and you can't beat a cream tea on arrival 👍
Highly recommended 😀
This was a lovely little cottage style holiday home with lots of room, conservatory and garden very peaceful, we had our first morning coffee and breakfast here and looked forward to the day ahead. Bedrooms are Shepherds huts which was quirky but comfortable and quiet. We enjoyed our week here and found the information supplied very helpful. We were out every day and drove to St, Ives, Mevagissey, Fowey and also visited Padstow which was just 10 mins away. If you do go, its a must to visit Rick Stein Seafood Restaraunt, its amazing. Taxi there and back with Miller Taxis was very reasonable. All in all a lovely place to stay, plenty of supply of towels and linen. Parking is right by the Trailers, a few steps to the front door but not many. We had a lovely time and would definately book again and recommend. Thank you for the Cream Tea on arrival Jane, enjoyed very much. Angie Taylor
Excellent property (the pictures don't do it justice). Great enclosed garden and a perfect position to visit all the areas around Padstow. Great communication from the owners 👏
The Trailers is different! the accommodation is superb, the local area has so much to do & see. Nothing is too much trouble the detail is excellent. I would happily recommend The Trailers to any couple or small family (3) as as a place to spend a holiday
Just brilliant, fabulous and quirky property in a quiet spot just outside Padstow which was perfect for relaxing. Really well thought out property with absolutely everything and more you could ever need included. Best property I’ve ever rented!
Lovely cottage with a very homely feel. Perfect spot outside Padstow to explore North & South Cornwall. All amenities you could need are provided for and the quirk of the two enclosed trailers is a nice touch. Outside space is private and excellent for an evening meal or just a lazy spot if sunbathing.
Even our small dogs were catered for with a selection of toys and treats.
Would definitely recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to enquire and stay again in the future.
