PRISTINE APARTMENT, 4 MIN WALK TO PRIVATE BEACH, STUNNING SEA VIEWS.
Sea View is a tastefully decorated and beautifully equipped 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, modern apartment with sea views and access to a private beach 4 minute walk away. Please note that Google Maps and the VRBO website are incorrect in saying it is a 4 minute drive to the beach! It is a perfect base for exploring Cornwall with great transport links and virtually the whole county within a 1 hour drive. It is 15 minutes walk from pubs, cafes and restaurants in picturesque and historic Charlestown. There is easy access to walks, water sports and golf. It is accessible by public transport and about 1 mile from 2 major supermarkets. Despite this, the location is peaceful and rural. It is located in a block with an elevator, enabling easy access for elderly or disabled clients. The apartment is strictly non smoking. It is not suitable for babies and young children because of the balconies and consequent safety concerns. Well behaved older children are welcome however. There is a golf course nearby and National Cycle Routes 2&3 are easily reached. The Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are the most well known of numerous attractions and places to visit within a short drive, or in many cases a bus/train or even a bike ride! This is Poldark country at its' best. Poldark fans will recognise locations from the programme. Many famous novels are set in the area, including works by Daphne du Maurier and Rosamund Pilcher. Facilities include: parking, garage, Internet, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, 2 king size beds, or a king size and 2 singles, 2 bathrooms, Smart TV. The main attraction is the location. 3 minute walk to private beach, sea views and rural quiet within easy access of all amenities. PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE IS A POSSIBILITY THAT BUILDING WORK NEARBY MAY RESTART IN 2026. There is currently no activity on the site, which is 75-100 metres away, largely hidden behind some trees. In the event of work restarting disturbance is expected to be minimal. Our rates have been discounted as a result of this uncertainty.

Lovely property ,great views. Short walk to beach.
Spotlessly clean, stylish apartment in a quiet, modern block of flats - exactly as described. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will probably return next year.

15 minutes away from Charlestown a pretty little harbour with pubs, shops and cafes
A spacious, well equipped and comfortable base for loads of local attractions. Views from the 2 balconies are stunning and the area is peaceful and relaxing. No problems finding the place with host's easy instructions and everything about checking in and out was straightforward. We'd give it 10 stars out of 5!
Very spacious, clean apartment. Lovely beach. Need to be able bodied to get back up steep slope. We were lucky to have extremely good weather. A couple of fans in the apartment would have been good.

Hi Janet,
Thank you for 5 star review. We are glad that you enjoyed your stay. Thanks also for the suggestion regarding fans. Given the warmer summers that we are experiencing, that is a very valid point. We will ensure that there are fans available in future.

Wow! Location, apartment.
Perfect location base for Cornwall. Big supermarket close by.
Apartment was clean and well equipped.
You can walk into Charlestown for the best ice-cream and then walk back up the hill to burn it off.
The apartment was better than expected, living up to its description fully. It was exceptionally clean, the bedding and towels were very good. The kitchen was appointed with all our needs, with lovely Denby crockery and very nice cutlery. There was more than enough equipment in the kitchen for our stay. I used the master bedroom and was delighted by how large it was, offering a good size shower in the en-suite. It was particularly lovely to be able to sit in the bed in the mornings and look at the sea from the generous windows. The apartment block was very quiet and the lift was useful for getting luggage up and down stairs. The one thing I was slightly disappointed by was the fact that the dryer element of the washing machine was out of order; we had very wet weather during our stay and the dryer would have been useful - but we managed.Communication with our host, Jean, was excellent, and responses were speedy.I would fully recommend this property.
Great Location and property exceeded our expectations
Interestingly Rashliegh drive takes after the original owner of Duporth which is now an aesthetically pleasing development of a new village. No 10 was situated on the 1st floor with all mod con's included and a lovely sea view aspect and balconies to sit out and enjoy a coffee and the ambiance. We totally. The enjoyed our stay including the nice touch of powerful binoculars and will be pleased to stay again when next down in St Austell.
This is a really spacious 2-bed apartment, impeccably presented in a great area which serves as a great hub to drive to pretty much anywhere in Cornwall in under an hour.
The hosts sent me good directions and lots of useful information before I arrived. On arrival, I was pleased to find a large, dedicated parking space and a garage where I could keep my bicycle during my stay. I immediately noticed how peaceful the location was.
On entering the apartment, I was struck by the size of the rooms and the great view from the windows and two balconies. There is even a pair of binoculars, enabling you to spot the Eddystone Lighthouse, 24 miles out to sea! Essentials are supplied to get you started (toilet rolls, milk, tea, coffee) but there are several supermarkets (including Tesco, Asda and Lidl) within a 5 minute drive.
Only half a mile away is Charlestown, a picturesque historic harbour which has pubs, restaurants, cafes (one which is open until 6pm) and craft shops. It is down a steep hill, so I was grateful for my e-bike on the way back!
There is also a private beach, again down a steep path, which I had completely to myself on a Friday evening in late September! Check the tide times though - if you're unfortunate enough to arrive at the beach during the highest tide of the year (like I did at one point!), you'll find there is no beach at all! Low tide reveals a lot of rocks along the low-water mark, so take care if you're swimming.
Thoroughly recommended!
Vielen Dank!
Very pleasent and restful stay - Sehr angenehmer und erholsamer Aufenthalt
We really enjoyed our stay. Calm neigboorhood, aparment leaves nothing to be desired, Kind and very helpful Landlords.
Charlestown in walking distance. Highly Recommended.
Empfehlenswert.
This property is a spacious apartment. The real bonus is the private beach. Charlestown walkable but coast path closed. The property is clean and well equipped. Also a large garage if you are going to have paddle boards etc. The owners kept in touch and sent everything necessary.

About the host

I am a nurse married to a doctor and have 2 adult daughters. We have purchased Sea View with a view to using it as a holiday getaway and for relaxation now that we have retired! It is a lovely location and when we are not using the apartment, we are pleased to allow others to enjoy!
Why they chose this property
Sea View really is a lovely apartment in a beautiful location. It is rural and quiet but within easy reach of all amenities even if you do not have a car. We both enjoy the seaside, the countryside, walks and socialising. Sea View ticks all the boxes for us and hopefully for you too
What makes this property unique
All mod cons, private beach access, beautiful location and so accessible for so many things. Holiday homes don't come much better!
