Piran's Cottage Central location close to the scenic Mevagissey harbour

This is a comfortable open plan grade 2 listed cottage located on the first and second floor. It is ideally located on a central quiet street, and is just a few minutes walk to the picturesque Mevagissey Harbour where there are restaurants, shops, and pubs to enjoy. There are many things to experience in this area such as visits to Charlestown where much of the Poldark TV series was filmed, Fowey by way of the Mevagissey Ferry from the harbour, and Heligan Gardens. Pentewan, Portmellon, Caerhays , all have nice beaches which are easily accessible. For more information about Mevagissey, you can look at this website www.mevagisseyharbour.co.uk

Accommodation includes:
Three bedrooms with two king beds and a single bed. All beds are standard length with hotel quality bedding. All rooms have built in wardrobes, side tables, and a chest of drawers in two rooms, and touch lamps. All of the cottage has LED lighting.
Well equipped kitchen with electric hob, oven, washer/dryer, full size fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, and plenty of utensils. Dining room seats six adults. Living room with two leather sofas, 55-inch Smart TV, DVD/Blue-Ray, free Wi -Fi, books, DVDs, and games. Large bathroom with roomy shower and two heated towel racks. Small WC upstairs near the bedrooms which has a toilet and sink. Electric heating in each room. Travel cot(no bedding included), high chair, iron, ironing board, and hair dryer included in the cottage. USB ports located throughout the cottage.

One complimentary pre paid parking permit at Willow car park is included for your stay in the cottage. This car park is about a 4 minute level walk from the cottage. You can drive up Chapel Street to unload at the cottage, and then make a short trip back to Willow Car park. Sorry, no pets allowed. Also no smoking. All bedding and bath towels are included, and professionally laundered. Sorry, no beach towels. Suitable for up to 5 people and families, not large parties. Please note: OUR CHECK IN AND CHECKOUT/ CHANGEOVER DAYS are Friday and Saturday.Our preferred day is FRIDAY but it is also possible to check in on Saturday.For the month of August I have a 7 day minimum stay. It is a 4 night or 3 night minimum stay for the remaining months of the year with the same check in and check out days Friday or Saturday If you have any questions or would like different days please contact me.

While unassuming from the outside the cottage is very modern and spacious, in a lovely location in the middle of the village. It was warm and cosy and everything worked great.

Perfect holiday house in wonderful Mevagissey

The PERFECT location for a visit to one of Cornwall’s most beautiful seaside towns. We stayed at Piran’s cottage with friends for an organised musical festival event in October ‘25. The accommodation is first class. It is well designed and superbly well decorated and furnished. It is spotlessly clean. There are nice touches missing too often in other properties eg adequate towels, dishwasher tablets, detergent, sponges for dishes , bin bags , coffee and tea! and basic provisions in the fridge The owner and manager have clearly given consideration to ensuring guests have the best possible time. We will be back !

Comfortable and well equiped home in a central spot in Mevagissey. Walking distance to the Lost Gardens of Heligan. A lots of nice Shops and Restaurant around the corner. We Head a nice week!

The cottage was in the perfect location, literally a couple of minutes walk from the Harbour. The Cottage had everything that we wanted and everything was to a very high standard. We loved it. Every cupboard housed a little extra something.... games, batteries, torches and then all the etxras in the kitchen, tea, coffee, biscuits, washing up essentials......no need to pack any of it. Would definitely recommend and would stay again. The parking permit was a great added bonus

Great place to stay

Great weekend in Mevagissey at Pirans Cottage. The cottage was lovely, very well presented, extremely clean and close to everything. We parked at Willow car park which was an easy walk to the property therefore we didnt have to negotiate the narrow streets of Mevagissey in the car. Once there we had everything we needed and more. Would definitely recommend staying here.

We stayed for a short break Monday - Friday. Everything was great and beyond our expectations. The accommodation is exactly as the website. Very comfy beds, lovely decor and very well equipped. Spotlessly clean. Little touches made a big impact. The large umbrella was very useful by the front door! Really hope we can find time to stay again.

Wonderful cottage

A beautiful property spotlessly clean with every mod con. Harbour & shops 2 mins away and during these difficult times the shops, pubs & restaurants were extremely good at controlling visitors. We would highly recommend this lovely cottage

Lovely cottage in a great location

We had a lovely time, the cottage is modern and very central to the harbour, we happened to be their during Feast week which was great with a number of groups and bands, a carnival and fireworks. Minor downside is the single bathroom which can be a challenge when there are 4/5 people in the cottage

Charming Coastal Getaway

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Piran's Cottage. The property was spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable, making it feel like a true home away from home. The beds were cozy, and the living space was perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The kitchen was well-equipped, and we appreciated the little touches like fresh towels and local information. Its location, just a short stroll from the harbor and village center, made it easy to enjoy Mevagissey's charm without needing a car. Piran's Cottage was the perfect retreat, and we would happily return!

Great stay, lovely place. Well equiped and maintained. Keeps warm and cozy with ample space and great kitchen. Right downtown so close to shops, harbour, pubs, restraunts, etc. Nice living room set round electric fire gives a great gathering and socializing area. Bathrooms are well equiped and shower is all modernized and lovely. The whole place was recently updated i think so all furnishing, bathrooms, kitchen, etc are all fairly new and very nice. Whole place is well maintained, clean, modern, and updated. Made for a very enjoyable stay. Would definatelly visit again.

Super clean, home from home property

Matched exactly description given of property and contents. Was a pleasure to stay at this property so comfortable, clean and with everything you would need provided. All shops, harbour and facilities on the doorstep. Lovely crafts displayed for sale in nearby church hall where a small cafe also serves very tasty and very reasonably priced meals, pastries, cakes and beverages all day on Wed, Thurs and Fri during holiday season.

I have brought my children to Mevagissey many times, and have made many wonderful memories. We hope that you will enjoy your stay in our cottage.
