With its rich history of the British naval base during the World War II, Addu City offers visitors an abundance of activities in the City. The pristine natural environment unique to only Addu varies from dense vegetation, wetlands, the biggest ship wreck diving, dolphin watch cruising, bird watching to observing the most magnificent sunsets at the Southern of equator enjoying the blissful Maldives.

Location and Transfer:

Charming Holiday Lodge is located in Addu City Meedhoo, the southern most of the Atoll in the Maldives. Meedhoo can be reached by flying to Addu’s Gan International Airport from the capital Male’ or via Sri Lanka and South Africa. Sri Lankan airlines and South African airlines fly weekly to Gan International airport. On arrival to Gan a five minutes car ride to Feydhoo ferry terminal from where regular ferries travel across the lagoon to Meedhoo. Alternatively, If you do not want to wait for the ferry a private speedboat transfers can be arranged on request.

Guests arriving from Male' Velaana International airport, Charming Holiday Lodge will arrange a round-trip flight from Malé Velaana International Airport to Gan. Domestic flight services operate on a daily schedule. Guests arriving in Malé after 10:30 PM will need to find overnight accommodation at the Airport Hotel or in Malé since further flights are not available from that time until early morning. Under such circumstance the transfer from Malé International Airport to Charming Holiday Lodge will be arranged for the following day. Domestic flight transfer charges are not included in the room rate.

Please note that guests must advise arrival and departure flight details to the Maldives at the time of booking, at least 3 days prior to arrival. All additional costs are to be paid directly to the property. The aforementioned rates are only available for transfers booked through Charming Holiday Lodge.
