This is an older home, older diverse neighborhood with smaller houses. You can see the limitations of the house and property, but the homeowner has done quite a lot to make it look and feel comfortable and to work around those issues. It's welcoming, quiet, and comfortable; and, while not overly spacious and filled with extra amenities, it was just right for our needs. There are plenty of kitchen appliances to make just about anything you want. A nice big covered patio to sit out back. Comfy living room. There are small things that could be done to make it just that more (comfy chair in bedroom, for one), but I don't consider them negatives.
The 'third' bedroom has just a twin size bed, but the down side is that you have to pass through this room to get to the 'master' bedroom (be careful of the step down).
I think the most noticeable was how clean and fresh the place was... I noticed it immediately upon arrival. I also love the sheets on the very comfy bed... sometimes those little things really make a difference. It's easy to look around and see all the little things the owner has done/added to make it special. I would definitely recommend the place, and would consider staying here again if our travels bring us back to the area.
Just be sure you don't mind sharing one bathroom.
