The home was perfect for my mom's 3 week stay to the area. She had a variety of visitors of many ages and all were comfortable and really enjoyed their stay. The bedrooms and bathrooms being en suite is a huge positive and the back yard is such a lovely space. The location is perfect--just far enough away from the "bustle" of downtown Leland but super close at the same time. Walking to the beach is a breeze even for the 80 year old crowd. Really could not have been a better stay!
We had a wonderful week at this beautiful and comfortable home! The location on the river is lovely, made even better by a new wooden fence surrounding the backyard. The house is extremely well appointed and had every amenity you would need, including a fully stocked kitchen. Everything was extremely clean and we loved being right on Main St. in the middle of town, a very short walk from all that Leland has to offer.
Love the relaxing home away from home. Location was outstanding even in the winter. Going to plan a summer trip. Just a beautiful home with a host that was very attentive and clearly takes pride in providing a first class stay.
We loved this house. It is well-appointed and well-stocked and conveniently located to walk around Leland and just a short drive to hikes and destinations throughout the peninsula. We’d love to return!
Everything was as listed and more! Definitely, recommend staying here! Lots of extras to make it feel like home! Thank you for sharing your place with us!
Unique with century old barn wood throughout but modern and comfortable. The en suite bathrooms for each bedroom worked great for our group - the layout would work really well for three couples (our next trip!) Leland offers a wonderful location for exploring the area - definitely a 5 star stay!
This property was absolutely perfect! We had three couples, and the fact that each bedroom has a full bath was very nice! The house is very spacious, nicely decorated with an up North feel, clean, cozy, and attention to every detail imaginable. Trish’s cute little restaurant next door was so convenient and yummy, as well as the other restaurants within walking distance. Definitely would stay here again!!!

Thank you, Sharon! It was a pleasure to host you! Hope to see you again in the future!
The property is an architectural dream with mostly reclaimed wood and attention to detail. We walked to the village, walked to the beach and enjoyed family time in this comfortable luxury house. This was our third time staying at this property. That says it all !
The house provided great common space and each bedroom had its own full bathroom. Everywhere we visited had great locals to talk to about the area!

What a great hostess. And the property is splendid. Cozy and comfortable. Wonderful amenities throughout the house. Kelly was a wonderful hostess. Love all of the fine appointments.
We really enjoyed our long weekend stay even though we had cold and rainy weather. The house was so inviting and comfortable that we felt right at home in luxury that we could touch. The combination of old wood, functional furniture, and modern appliances all contributed to a very enjoyable stay. Everything we needed was furnished and we could just bring in some groceries and fix meals, make morning coffee, and clean up. It was a short walk to Van's Beach, Fishtown, and unique shops. Besides the cheese shop and Carlson's Fish, we suggest Tampico and Verterra Wine shop.
Even though the house is right on M-22 it was very quiet at night and the mattresses were so soft and comfortable that we didn't want to get up in the morning. We will certainly return again.
In town for our daughter’s wedding and could not be happier with this beautiful home. Had everything we needed and wanted! Owner was nice and accommodating for a little later check out.
One drawback, the little restaurant across the street had a 4:00 am garbage pickup! We had the bedroom window open because the weather was fantastic and were awoken by the LOUD sound of the dumpsters being emptied. I would think that the company could adjust that pickup time in a residential area
The next day, we had a 6:00 am wake up due to the restaurant delivery truck arriving and unloading! We did not want to be woken up during our vacation time!
Location of the house to town was fantastic and the beautiful river behind us was lovely!
We loved our week at 309 Main St. Beautiful, warm, cozy and spotless. The kitchen was fully equipped. Each room has its own temperature control and the beds were very comfortable.
One of tripped and fell on the area rug under the dining room table. I think it just needs a carpet pad under it. Thank you so much for everything! We loved it- minus the loose carpet.
This charming home in Leland within a short walk to its shopping/grocery/restaurant/Fishtown areas, is beautiful and completely stocked with everything anyone would need. The home was impeccable and has been treated with great care. The VBRO pictures speaks for itself! Thank you for sharing with us! Plan to visit again !
Beautiful and very well appointed home centrally located in Leland, Michigan. This house has everything you could possibly need for a lovely wine discovery weekend with friends. It is walkable to several restaurants in Leland, and to the beach, River and Lake Leelanau. I particularly loved that there were multiple bedrooms with their own thermostats! Great feature for a group to have.
Also easy driving in the Leelanau peninsula to discover wineries, state parks, small towns throughout etc. really enjoyed this house!
Truly a special place -- incredibly designed and unique. Warm, cozy, inviting. Felt like being in a huge spa :). Living room and dinning area were perfect for hanging out and playing games. The kitchen was fully stocked and great for making a big group meal together. Loved the river out back and the closeness to Lake Michigan. All in all would highly recommend.
This beautiful cottage did not disappoint. We enjoyed the cozy and well designed interior and the lovely view and sitting area by the Leland River. You can walk to anywhere in this charming UP North town of Leland.
The house was spotless and well stocked with everything we needed. The property manager was extremely helpful. All in all a perfect home for our vacation !!
We will be back !
