About this property

Apartment in a house in Argol

At the entrance to the Crozon Peninsula, we offer an independent apartment on the 1st floor of a house (containing 2 apartments) with private enclosed garden.
It is located in the village of Argol in the Regional Park of Armorica (Parc régional d'Armorique), a few km from the sea and the beautiful beaches of the Bay of Douarnenez. It is located on hiking trails (GR34). Rocked by the legend of the City of Ys, Argol is located on the borders of the Crozon Peninsula. It is a small agricultural village located between our two series of mountains, at the foot of the highest of the Montagnes Noires, the Menez Hom (culminating at 330m, breathtaking views of the Presqu'ile and Douarnenez Bay on clear days). By bike, it is possible to reach Telgruc or Crozon or even the Aulne river to access more rural areas of center Finistere. On foot, you have access to the GR and many small hiking circuits. One, behind the house, will bring you to the Kleger, an original giant rock bursting from the ground, an interesting place for climbing as well.

The village of Argol includes some essential shops (bakery, bar, tobacco, organic groceries, creperie, ...) and a market on Thursday in summer, all within walking distance (100m). Argol is also known for the Musée des Vieux Métiers Vivants and its parish enclosure (16th century).

The apartment is accessible by an outside staircase without vis-à-vis. It has three bedrooms, two with single bed and one with double bed. A private closed garden is there for you to relax as well.

About the host

Argol is my hometown. I had to leave for my job as many young people from the countryside. I am now very happy to present the area to my own two girls. They enjoy, as I did once, the countryside, the long days on the beach, and the nice visits around the area. There is much to see even in bad weather !

Why they chose this property

I bought the house of my grand-parents a few years ago. After renovation, I am able, like they did, to rent part of the house for the vacantion.
