The Space:

This location is primo! It's directly across the street from Park City Mountain Resort, the largest ski resort in the U.S.! We're also a 5 min walk from Main Street!

This condo is clean, comfortable, and cozy with lots of natural light. If you choose to eat in, a grocery store is conveniently located within a 10 minutes walk. If you choose to eat out, you will find multiple restaurants close by, in all price points.

After a day of skiing, you can relax on the sofa in front of the TV, or take advantage of the free WiFi while enjoying a fire in the fireplace. Or, walk down the stairs to soak in the shared outside Jacuzzi hot tub (winter only) while enjoying stunning views of the ski runs. If you have a car, there is free covered garage parking and/or off-street parking available to our guests.

Our large bedroom has a new queen mattress and bedding, and the brand new leather sofa folds out to a queen bed. Coin-op washers and dryers are available for your use in the building.

Our condo is a perfect getaway for a couple who want room to relax, or a small family. We welcome you to our home away from home!

Other things to note
If you choose to come for the Sundance Film Festival you'll be right in the heart of the action as our complex is within walking distance to all of the Sundance events on Main street.

Awesome location, but...
... the place is in need of a serious update - beds, carpet, paint, bathrooms, the works. BUT the location really is fabulous. We walked to the lifts. And having laundry on site was helpful. Also, management was responsive for check in, check out and questions in between.

Check-in process needs fixing
Rented the condo for 2 weeks for a ski trip. First week was just my wife and I, then we were joined by my brother for second week. The condo was fine, it was clean, the beds comfortable, and the kitchen, while not being lavishly equipped (a couple of extra saucepans would be useful) was fine for what we needed. The five minute walk across a couple of car parks to the mountain is hard to beat. The only complaint was the check-in process seems broken in that it was only after calling Michael, the owner, directly upon our arrival did we get the unit number and key code despite several earlier requests through the VRBO messaging system for the information. Check-out was similarly confusing: the night before leaving I received a message reminding us to check-out before 10:00am followed by "For check out just: #### Check out instructions – please replace the entire line with specific instructions relevant for this listing #### ". I'm assuming there was some automatically generated text that should have appeared here but who knows. It seems like the bumpy experience with checking in and out can easily be fixed. Most (all?) places we've rented in the past have a binder with information about contact numbers, wifi password, check out procedure, dos and don'ts for using the facilities, places to eat etc which would be easy to provide. That being said we had a great time staying in the condo and would certainly book again next year.

Perfect location
The condo was in the perfect location and the price was very reasonable. Wish they cleared the snow from the hot tub. It was buried in snow and unusable. Otherwise, a great place.

Budget condo, 5-star location
This condo is a budget-friendly option for those who want to be in walking distance to the slopes. It is clean, comfortable, and quiet, and we really wanted to give it 5-stars but over the 4 nights, its age and lack of creature comforts started to show. For the price, we absolutely got what we paid for, however, we've become used to some common items in a VRBO over the last few years. I'm writing this so if you decide to stay, you know what to expect (and what to bring!) and perhaps management and the owner of Chung's Chalet sees this to update. If I had known about the missing items, I would have packed them myself without a problem rather than purchasing in Park City ($$$) Pros: Location, clean, quiet, great cable TV (no streaming or DirectTV), fits a family of 4 comfortably. Very budget friendly. Cons: Advertises dishwasher and there isn't one. This is a huge bummer for cooking and eating in. Not enough hot water in the in-unit water heater to allow for 4 10-minute showers after skiing. The cupboards are bare except for very old salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, cooking spray, sugar, and coffee filters. No board games, which are nice to have when you spend the evening in with your family; we eventually found a deck of cards shoved in the back of a drawer. No shampoo; no working hairdryer. There was a tiny travel one but resetting the outlets didn't get it to work. Toilets need a long flush (TMI?) Pots and pans need a deep cleaning. Time to update the range and microwave

Great ski condo
First time starting at this condo. Couldn’t be happier with our stay. You can see the slopes from the living room! Loved having coffee in the morning and watching the mountain before heading out for the day. The Eagle and First Time lifts are about 150 yards or less walk across the parking lot. We will definitely try to stay again next year.
