**Pool and Hot Tub Area are Out of Service for Remodels**
This wonderful vintage two bedroom/ two bath condo boasts many amenities surrounded by amazing views of the Rocky Mountains. Amenities include a large wood burning fireplace, private deck, large HD TV, a fully equipped kitchen, spacious dining area, communal grill, free WI-Fi and cable, hot tub and pool in same building, and much much more.

The master bedroom has Queen bed. There is a full and private bathroom in the master bedroom.

The guest bedroom also has 2 Queen Beds. The second bathroom is located just outside of this bedroom, connected to the living area.

In the living room there is a Queen Sofa Sleeper. The living room is fully equipped with a wood fireplace, HD TV, two large couches, and two large lounging chairs. The perfect place to relax after your mountain activities.


Buffalo Village has some of the best clubhouse amenities and most of them are in the same building as the condo (no need to walk outside in the cold)! On the first floor you will enjoy a large indoor pool and hot tub. There is also a game room and common area for the kids or group gatherings, a racquetball court, sauna and more. There is also a laundry room in the building.

This affordable mountain condo is only 20 minutes from 4 major ski areas - Breckenridge, Keystone, Copper, and Arapahoe Basin. There is a free shuttle service to those areas and the surrounding towns are available only a short drive from our condo. Vail and Beaver Creek are also only 30-40 minutes away.

Situated near the top of Buffalo Mountain, this condo sits nestled in the trees, literally a few feet from the numerous hiking and snowshoe trails of Arapahoe National Forest. With spectacular views everywhere you look, it is ideally suited for both winter and summer activities of every kind.

Whether you want to enjoy the champagne powder of the Rockies, snowshoe or cross-country ski from your front door, shop or dine in town, you are close to everything that Summit County has to offer. Plus, with the brand new plush beds, you will have an amazing nights' sleep!

Mountain Retreat

What a beautiful location. Spent a weekend at this location with my wife, my son, his wife and my granddaughter and we loved it there. Beautiful views everywhere and anything you could want nearby.

Overall, a great place and would probably stay here again. Pros- We were very comfortable here as a party of five. Plenty of room for everyone to sleep comfortably or just hang out. Condo is very spacious for a 2-bedroom, has a well equipped kitchen, and beautiful large fireplace. The showers were the best we’ve had traveling- strong water power and HOT! It was very nice to have two box fans and two humidifiers available for the bedrooms.Cons- the vintage description is for real, which mainly is fine, but there is a distinct “vintage” smell upon entering. The master bedroom could definitely use a new mattress; it’s sagging in the middle so you roll in. Could have been slightly more clean (baseboards and heaters on the floor with hair), but we also have no carpet at home so maybe that comes with the territory. Lastly, but important to note- this condo is very near the top of the road in Wildernest, so does have a higher altitude. I think it was around 9600ft; if you’re prone to altitude sickness, you may be affected here.

The place was clean. Great location. The place itself was a bit dated but that really didn’t bother us. We were extremely disappointed that all the hot tubs and pools in the complex were shut down! I didn’t see this before booking and when we arrived I thought we could go to another building but they were all closed!

This place does have a good set-up and the management company was easy to work with. However, the walls are super thin and there is a lot of noise. The furniture in the living area would use an update. And make sure you bring your own coffee filters!!! The hot tub was also not functioning.

Winter stay

The apartment was nice and clean, slightly outdated, but still very nice. The problem was the Jacuzzi in the building was broken, and when i tried to message the owners, there was no response. All i needed to know if maybe we can use Jacuzzi in another building, it was one of the reasons we rented the place, it's nice to sit in the Jacuzzi after all day of skiing.

Even as an older unit it is constantly being updated. It now has new granite countertops in the kitchen and both bathrooms. It also has new sliding patio doors and modern artwork. It is in a great location and the view is awesome. A very well stocked kitchen.

Perfect for skiing.

If you are looking for luxury housing, this is not it. However, if you are just looking for a place to sleep, it is perfect. Beautiful view and fully stocked kitchen. We had a beautiful fox outside the door every night. It is outdated. There is carpet in the bathroom and kitchen. The carpet in the kitchen needs to be replaced. However, we enjoyed our stay and we had no problems. I recommend it if you are not planning on staying inside all day.

Beautiful Setting

We loved the layout of the condo! Screen door is a little rickety and the coffee maker leaks, but everything else was super. All the essentials are present! We would definitely come again!
