Contemporary interior design with modern and fully equipped kitchen . Large terrace with first class garden furniture . Lighted seating area'/paths next to the pond and fountain halfway the garden . The garden borders a small water stream at the end. Parking places for 2/3 cars of which one is covered . Two separate toilets ( one downstairs and one up) , one bedroom with modern en-suite downstairs and 2 bedrooms upstairs ( one with balcony) with common bathroom . Electric heating throughout the house and a fire place .

We hebben twee heerlijke weken gehad in deze woning. Echt van alle gemakken voorzien! Een prachtige grote tuin met verschillende zitjes en een vijver met kikkers. Het geluid van de fontein maakt je vakantiegevoel compleet.

Calme et sérénité

Maison spacieuse et lumineuse en conformité avec l’annonce. Agencement du logement très agréable et mise à disposition de nombreux ustensiles de cuisine… Jardin parfaitement entretenu et bien arboré avec petite mare. Environnement avec très peu de site à visiter, c’est le petit côté négatif. Propriété parfaite pour se reposer et se ressourcer au calme loin du stress urbain

Très belle maison

Vraiment une très belle maison tout à fait conforme à l'annonce description, d'une propreté irréprochable. Un seul petit problème, qui n'a cependant pas troublé notre séjour c'est la télévision que nous n'avons pas réussi à avoir en français. Vraiment un très bon séjour et une adresse à conserver.

We hebben een hele fijne week gehad. Het huisje was super mooi en alles zat erin wat je nodig kon hebben en een gwdife tuin die goed onderhouden wordt. Heel volledig. Lekker rustig en op een mooi plekje. Mooi dichtbij het zwembad. Ook ideaal was dat je brood kon halen bij de receptie iedere ochtend. We zouden dit verblijf zeker iedereen aanraden.

Rust en ontspanning in een luxe omgeving met top service

We hebben genoten van de rust en de ruimte. Wat een heerlijk vakantiehuis. In het zwembad hoorden we verschillende mensen (die jullie blijkbaar persoonlijk kennen) toch zeggen dat jullie huis en tuin het mooist waren en dat kunnen wij alleen maar beamen. De ontvangst door de beheerders was ook erg vriendelijk en als er iets was, konden we direct bij hen terecht. Dus in het kort gezegd, we hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad.

Heerlijk verblijf

In augustus hebben wij een week verbleven in dit heerlijke huis. Het huis is ruim opgezet en heeft een prachtige grote tuin met veel privacy. Er zijn verschillende terrassen, waardoor je vanaf sochtens tot savonds zon in de tuin hebt. We hadden mooi weer en hebben zo optimaal kunnen genieten van de tuin en het nabijgelegen zwembad. Het park is rustig, wat maakt dat je helemaal tot rust komt. Aanrader is om ook de kust te bezoeken op ongeveer anderhalf uur rijden. La Rochelle is een prachtig plaats met een mooie haven en stad. Voor ons was het ideale vakantie en we willen Frans bedanken voor zijn gastvrijheid!

Why they chose this property

The French country site has always attracted us with its rolling hills and vast views.Around Les Forges it is excellent golfing,walking , biking and lets not forget it : dining.....Towns like Poitiers and La Rochelle are max 60 car minutes away. Both have have historic centers with many nice restaurants and La Rochelle has a first class Marina- as a keen sailor one of the reasons for selecting Les Forges !

What makes this property unique

L'Aveneau is a small scale development ( 24 properties) of which the first phase is completed. It features a comfortable heated pool close to the property ,but also not too close ..... The development is laid out spaciously with lots of green around the houses, each with a minimum plot size of around 800 m2 ..... The Golfclub is at 20 mins walk, features a superb 27 hole golf course and a very good and homely restaurant.

It is this homely ,cosy, country side atmosphere all around that made us go for this place !

We are sure you will experience the same , so come and stay !
