Beautiful Breeze is a 4 BR 2 BA beachfront cottage with vaulted ceilings in the kitchen & living room. It has a 180 degree ocean view, spacious oceanfront screened porch with plenty of seating, a large sunny deck area, and an outside rinse station.

This oceanfront cottage sleeps up to 8 people. All bedrooms have 12 inch Queen Medium Firm Memory Foam Mattresses and blackout curtains.

This cottage is conveniently located near Middleton Park, Ocean Crest Pier, Island Way Restaurant, The Pepperoni Grill, Kings Beach shop, tennis & pickleball courts, Food Lion grocery, and Publix grocery.

Keyless door lock entry provides easy access.

This is a NON-SMOKING and NO PETS cottage.

Rental includes 5 ROKU Smart TVs, free high-speed Wi-Fi, board games, books, W/D, HVAC, D/W, a fully equipped kitchen, and ceiling fan/light combos in each room.

Lower level storage has a variety of beach toys and supplies. Small outdoor utility sink and picnic table are in shaded area under the cottage.

Basic starter cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, and dish detergent provided.

We are a fun and active family that loves to travel. We especially love warmer climates and the ocean! We live in the Midwest and look forward to our visits to Oak Island, NC. We also enjoy sharing our hidden gem in Oak Island with extended family, friends, and VRBO guests. As parents of an active teen we enjoy watching our son play sports and being an involved Eagle Scout! When we come to Oak Island it is all about relaxing, eating fresh seafood, and enjoying the beach.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with Oak Island in 2001 and have been vacationing here ever since. We are beyond thrilled to own this piece of this paradise! We love that Oak Island is full of beach cottages and homes rather than huge condos, skyscrapers and hotels. We prefer the family-oriented quiet atmosphere of Oak Island, local restaurants rather than chain restaurants, and the southern charm of Southport. Watching sunrises and sunsets from the deck is beyond beautiful. Although Oak Island has grown over the years it has not lost its small town charm. They have improved outdoor parks and recreational activities by adding tennis courts, pickle ball courts, basketball courts, skate park, a small water park, walking paths, nature trails, a farmers' market and more. Oak Island is the best kept secret in NC!

What makes this property unique

The view of the ocean is amazing. The screened in porch is roomy and wonderful. The outside deck is great for sunbathing and relaxing. We love the location near Ocean Crest Pier, Middleton Park, close to Publix and Food Lion, restaurants and shops. If you love thrift shops then Oak Island is for you! Beautiful Breeze was first updated February 2020 with a new roof, new interior paint, new flooring, new beds, and new kitchen items. Then unfortunately Hurricane Isaias caused damage in August 2020 (yup...6 months later!) After fighting with insurance companies for over a year we finally remodeled our home again to be ready for the 2022 Summer season! All beachfront homes have to deal with the harsh weathering due to the salt, sea, winds, storms, hurricanes, sand, and sun. Thankfully we have a great crew that helps us keep up with Mother Nature!
