Nice house in good location

We had a very nice stay in the house. Roberto was welcoming and explained the house and surroundings accurately. We loved the riverbeach just below the house! Also the farm with fresh meat, cheese and yoghurt was nice. All in all a good house for two family’s with kids! Arne

Spacious large house perfect for children with a lovely little garden in a great location

What a great find. We had a great stay at Roberto's house. The bedrooms are large, with lovely views over the valley. The house is kept nice and clean and is well equipped with everything you could need. The small upstairs self contained area with a living room and separate kitchen provides a nice option for a retreat from the main house if you are travelling with two groups. The kids loved visiting the dairy across the road for fresh milk, cheese and salami as well as feeding the neighbor, Black the horse. Check in was easy and Roberto is a pleasure to talk to. Highly recommended and we hope to stay there again soon.

What a beautiful house and a beautiful environment. The Alps around the corner and Lago Orta close by. A nice river very close to the house. 2 mins walk. The house is very clean and beautiful big sleeping rooms. Pay attention to the wall paintings. We were there with 4 teenagers and also for them this house and area was great.Host Roberto is really a nice and friendly host. Gives a lot of information and always available. Grazie Roberto and who knows maybe till the next time. Ciao ciao

Sehr schöner Ort

Ein wirklich schöner Ort! Wir waren mit zwei Familien (insgesamt 8 Leuten) dort. Es war mehr als genug Platz für alle. Es gibt eine Menge zu entdecken in der Umgebung und am schönsten ist natürlich die Fluss Badestelle unterhalb des Hauses! Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und hat uns viele gute Tipps geben. Danke für wunderbare zwei Wochen.

Wieder einmal ein sehr schöner Urlaub

Wir waren jetzt schon das vierte mal in diesem Haus. Unsere Kinder sind begeistert von der Umgebung. Das Haus ist gemütlich und der Garten lädt zum Entspannen ein. Wir haben uns wieder sehr wohl gefühlt und der Vermieter ist ausgesprochen net und unkompliziert. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Daher 5 Sterne.

Wunderschönes Haus mit Charakter

Ein schönes, großzügiges Haus, mit vielen Zimmern, Badezimmern, und genug Platz zum Essen für 9 oder 10 Personen, sowohl in der Küche als auf der Terrasse. Besonders hat uns gefallen, dass sich das Haus gar nicht wie eine anonyme Ferienwohnung anfühlt; man fühlt sich eher wie zu Gast bei Freunden. Netter Kontakt, unkomplizierte Abwicklung, alles super. Gerne wieder.

Toller Urlaub im charmanten Landhaus

Wir, 4 Erwachsene und 4 Kinder, hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in diesem wunderschönen Herrenhaus. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Die Kinder waren vom Spielzimmer begeistert und wir alle haben das Baden im nahegelegenen Fluss genossen.

Eine wahre Entdeckung!

Das Valsesia hat uns voll und ganz in Beschlag genommen! Wir sind begeistert von der schönen Landschaft, das feine Essen, die lieben Menschen. Das Haus liegt etwas ausserhalb des Hauptortes Varallo, mit einem kleinen Garten zum Tal hin. Auch im Herbst bei schönem Wetter ideal mit den Kindern. Wir waren 4 Erwachsene und 5 Kinder. Hinter dem Haus beginnt der Wald, beginnt ein Wanderweg nach Arboerio mit einer etwas weiteren Aussicht. Auf der anderen Seite, vor dem Haus gehts zum Fluss, zum Bauernhof (bester Käse, Salami, Milch & co.) und etwas flussaufwärts über die Brücke hinauf zum Sacro Monte, ein lohnenswerter Ausflug. Das Haus, wohl eher ein Palazzo, hat alles was es für gelungene Ferien braucht: viel Platz, schöne Schlafzimmer, drei Badezimmern, grosse, gut ausgestattete Küche, gemütliches Wohnzimmer mit Kamin (ideal um die im Wald gesammelten Kastanien zu braten). Auch Kinderspiele und Wanderkarten für die grossen stehen in Hülle und Fülle zur Verfügung. Der Herbst im Valsesia hat vieles zu bieten: wandern, klettern, spazieren, Kastanien sammeln, Kultur geniessen, ... und alles quasi direkt vor der Haustüre! Wir werden hoffentlich wieder kommen können.

Großes Haus am Fluss

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal mit vier Erwachsenen und fünf Kindern im Haus der Familie Rossi. Die Aufteilung der Räume und die Anzahl der Bäder ist für uns optimal. Der große gemauerte Tisch vor dem Haus ist super zum Frühstücken in der Sonne. Der Fluss, den man über die Kuhweide erreicht (der Bauer verkauft in seinem Hofladen superleckeren Käse und auch Wurst), ist toll zum Abkühlen und Spielen für die Kinder. Wenn man es etwas wärmer haben möchte, ist man mit dem Auto in ca. 50 Minuten am wunderschönen Lago d'Orta. Der nächst größere Ort (mit dem Auto fünf Minuten) ist Varallo, wo es mehrere Supermärkte gibt, unsere Lieblingspizzeria La Sfinge und natürlich das beste Eis der Welt. Wir haben es sehr genossen, dass man selten Touristen trifft und wenn ja, dann keine deutschen. Rund um Varallo kann man auch wandern und wer es richtig hoch mag, kann in weniger als einer Stunde Alagna erreichen, von wo man mit der Seilbahn auf 3000 Meter fahren kann. Wir haben den Urlaub sehr genossen.

Oase im Grünen

Das Haus war schön gross, ausreichend für 10 Personen. Wir waren mit 4 Erwachsenen, 3 Jugendlichen und 3 Kindern ( 11 Jahre ) für eine Woche dort. 3 Badezimmer reichten aus, waren normal bis einfach ausgestattet. In der Küche war es für 10 Personen etwas eng, zum Glück gab es eine Theke, wo noch 3 Personen sitzen konnten. Die Töpfe und Pfannen wurden schon sehr viel benutzt. Das Wohnzimmer war schön, es gab dort einen Fernseher mit Internetfunktionen. Draussen war der Tisch ausreichend groß, es gab genug Stühle, 2 Liegestühle und eine Hollywoodschaukel. Der Grill funktionierte hervorragend. Das schlechteste waren die Matratzen. Sie waren alt und müssten dringend ausgetauscht werden!! Zum Glück funktionierte die Heizung, denn am Anfang war es sehr kalt im Haus. ( Ende Mai ). Wir haben uns alle sehr wohl gefühlt, auch wenn der Weg hoch zum Haus nur zu Fuss gelaufen werden konnte. Die Autos parkten unterhalb auf einem Parkplatz. Es gab genügend Spielsachen für kleine, mittlere und große Kinder. Ein Haus mit einer Familiengeschichte. Sehr nett.

vacances inoubliables près du lac d'Orta

Notre séjour en famille a été très réussi dans cette maison familiale : l'accueil par le propriétaire, l'ambiance de la maison, la ferme en bas du jardin pour acheter le lait frais fromages charcuterie, la rivière (petit paradis)qui remplace largement la piscine...!la proximité des aéroports et de Milan ( 1h15) pour les visites culturelles... les randonnées en montagne, Varallo et ses trésors-Sacro Monté... A recommander! ( un petit bémol pour l'équipement de la cuisine: nous aimons cuisiner et il manque quelques outils)
