About this property

This salt-box, cozy-yet-spacious home sits nestled on a private wooded lot & offers a peaceful, private escape for up to 8 guests, while still being a quick, easy drive to nearby mountains and charming New England towns filled with shops, restaurants, and bars.

Inside you are treated to a charming open concept living area with vaulted ceilings & exposed timbers, a wood burning fireplace, & natural wood throughout. The screened porch provides additional living space. You can barbecue using the outdoor grill. In the yard, you can play corn hole or sit in Adirondack chairs around the fire while enjoying the beautiful night stars, making this an ideal mountain getaway!

We have a fully stocked updated kitchen with all the pots, pans, dishes, and basic spices you need. The coffee bar includes a coffee maker and a Keurig. Washer/dryer are in the mud room where there is storage for shoes, boots, coats, skis, etc. Wi-Fi is available if you need to catch up on work, but our hope is that this cabin provides a perfect escape where you can relax and unwind.

The dining area and living room make for a wonderful gathering space to share meals, watch movies, play games, or enjoy a good book by the fire. Above the fireplace is a 50-inch television where you can use YouTube TV.

There are 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms in this home, perfect for a group of friends, couples, or families. Downstairs is a queen bed with attached bathroom that includes a large, renovated shower. The other 3 bedrooms are upstairs. They include one with a king-sized bed, one with 2 single beds and a bunk room (2 bunk beds and a futon). Pet fee $75.00

Wonderful Weekend with Surprise Skiing

This chalet was a wonderful place for our family to stay. We had not planned to ski but brought skis along just in case, and were delighted to take advantage of surprise spring skiing at Mt Snow! The chalet had everything we needed, the kitchen was well stocked, and we were comfortable and warm. Instructions from the host were clear and easy to follow. There was a small hang-up trying to get in to the chalet but the host was incredibly responsive and the issue was resolved quickly. We look forward to staying again!

Skiing at Mount Snow

The house is a few minutes from Mount Snow and had everything needed so you can just bring your ski gear and head to the slopes. Check in instructions were simple and clear and the owner was very responsive to all questions. I will be staying here again on my next trip back to West Dover.

perfect getaway

House, layout, porch are a perfect getaway. We went for an impromptu trip to relax and it was perfect. Plenty of space , privacy and nice scenic drives to great spots to check out. Even in non ski season a gem.

Girls just want to have fun

This is our second time renting this home. We enjoy the enclosed porch and playing corn hole. The views are great and there was plenty of room for all. The weather was awesome. The homeowners get back to you if you have any questions or concerns. Once again thank you for having us.

There is so much to do in the area. It is close to Mt. Snow, snowmobiling trails, hiking, swimming, golf & more. The town of Wilmington is a typical New England towm with shops, bars & restaurants. Throughout the year, there are festivals to enjoy!

The property has been remodeled to give modern ammenities without sacraficing the VT mountain cozy cabin feel. The outdoor screened porch is additional space to take selfies with "Cody- the Bear". There is corn hole, games and a fire pit to enjoy the private outdoors.
