Three trulli cones, an oven and an old “lamia”about a century old have revived the site’s ancient appeal thanks to an accurate restoration and expansion personally supervised by the owner, a young Milanese architect who has always been in love with Puglia and wished to bring La Pietraia up-to-date while paying full respect to its ancient forms, colours and original materials.

The structure was originally used as a shelter for the vine growing luxuriantly here, favoured by the rocky soil rich in the minerals of the sunny and breezy hills of Ostuni. In fact, La Pietraia takes its name from the typical beautiful white-rosy limestone of Ostuni with which its trulli were built a century ago and are now brought to life in all their striking beauty.

La Petraia offers:
- three charming double bedrooms, two of which stand within the trulli, the other one features also a private and comfortable walk-in closet, each having its en-suite bathroom and independent access to the garden;
- an attractive and cosy living-room, placed within the ancient “lamia”, with an old stone fireplace and wonderful views of the pool and surrounding landscape; a kitchen with all modern amenities; and a fourth bathroom for guests.
Yust beside and direclty connected with the main Villa, there is the lovely Trullo delle Rose annexe, a newly refurbished trullo suite with all conforts perfect for 2 or 3 person ,which includes:
1 double bedroom , 1 alcove perfect for an adult or a child, a fully equipped kichenette in a lovely living room, a bathroom, a lovely relaxation furnished terrace, a private gate and parking area.
