Large family house of 200 M2 widely open on a large park of 5000 M2. Located in a small village Meusien, breathtaking views of the green countryside, pastures and meadows. Not overlooked, privacy, calm and greenery. In the park, benches invite to read and the hammock to daydream. No business in the village but the baker goes every morning so fresh bread guaranteed! Within a radius of 5km you will find village grocer, caterer, peasant barn (Live sales of local producers).
The layout of the house allows to harmoniously live together adults and children. It has two lounges, the one on the ground floor serves as dining room and has a large table that can accommodate 12 guests. Upstairs the living room is a large games room with billiards, babyfoot Bonzini, electronic darts.

Bonjour, effectivement la boulangerie a fermé mais il y a dans le café-snack "le brasero" sur la place du village un dépôt de pain. Ce qui est amusant c'est que l'établissement est tenu par un couple de vos compatriotes.

Leider zu laut und zu stinkend!
Der Eigentümer und die Verwalterin vor Ort sind sehr nett. Das Haus ist grundsätzlich gut eingerichtet. Es liegt aber leider direkt hinter einem Bauernhof und einem offen Kuh- und Schafstall. Dadurch stinkt es fast durchweg im Garten, auf der Terrasse und im Haus sehr stark! Wenn sich der Wind dreht, hat es stark nach Schwein gestunken, da auf der anderen Straßenseite ein Schweinestall ist. Durch die angrenzenden offenen Stallungen waren überall (vor allem im Haus) sehr viele Fliegen; vor allem Stechfliegen. Das Haus hat leider keine Fliegengitter! Der Garten war fast durchweg verwildert (Löhwenzahn, Unkraut...). Eine Nutzung durch den stinkenden angrenzenden Viehstall, die sehr vielen Fliegen (vor allem Stechfliegen und Bremsen) war leider nicht so schön; eigentlich kaum möglich. Die Lage war nicht ruhig. Ab ca. 6:30 Uhr - 22:30 Uhr hat der angrenzende Bauer seine Arbeit lautstark begonnen. Von ca. 22:30 bis 6:30 hat der Bauer für seine Kühe laute Musik im Kuhstall gespielt; ein Schlafen bei offenen Fenstern war uns wegen des Gestanks und der Musik kaum möglich. Über den Ort fliegen den ganzen Tag sehr viele Flugzeuge (stark genutzte Fluglinie). An mehreren Tagen in der Woche sind Kampfjets mit Überschall über das Dorf geflogen. In der Nähe liegt eine Militärbasis. Einen Landurlaub in ruhiger Lage, wie in der Hausbeschreibung genannt, haben wir uns anders vorgestellt.
Aus den vorstehenden Gründen können wir leider keine volle Punktzahl für das Objekt geben.

Lovely house with an authentic feel
Our group of 15 families with kids really enjoyed the house over the weekend we spent here.
The property has character with its interesting decorations and old furniture. It is well maintained though, and we found it comfortable.
There are 4 separate double bedrooms and 1 more large attic space that can sleep 6 more. There are plenty of bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and a large living/dining space on the ground floor. The attic is filled with toys for kids, the 1st floor has darts, fussball, and Carum billiards. So plenty of entertainment inside.
But the highlight for us was the large yard outside with a BBQ grill, a large brazier, swings plenty of trees and a terrace with a lounge area and large table. On our warm April days we spent the whole time there.
Thank You Didier and co for a lovely stay. We will try to come back :)

Ideaal voor meerdere gezinnen met voldoende slaapplekken en badkamers. Ruime woonkamer met open haard en deuren naar een enorm terras. Ideale loft met tafelvoetbal en biljart.
de keuken is aan de krappe kant dus geen culinaire hoogstandjes.

Großes Haus auf dem Land
Wir haben uns zu acht (vier Paare) mit drei Hunden dort getroffen - hierfür war das Haus ideal. Die Einrichtung ist schon älter und teilweise etwas museal aber alles funktioniert. und kann genutzt werden. Das Haus ist sehr abgelegen, wer gerne nach Verdun oder in die Champagne möchte, muss eine längere Fahrzeit in Kauf nehmen. Die Umgebung ist sehr ländlich und lädt zur Spaziergängen und Zeit in der Natur ein.
Von der Buchung bis zur Abwicklung lief alles reibungslos.

Fantastisch huis, schitterende lokatie, geschikt voor meerdere gezinnen.
We hebben genoten. Prachtig huis. Schitterend uitzicht vanuit het huis en vanaf het terras. Meerdere badkamers dus heel geschikt voor vakantie met de hele familie.

Huge and cosy House in the middle of nowhere
We really enjoyed our stay in this huge house. We were two families with 2 kids each and had more than enough space.
The house has a nice antique indoor decoration and a soul, you really feel that someone with taste and style lived here.
We enjoyed the big terrace with a view into the garden and the cows on the neighbour's land. We did some trips to Verdun and a nice lake.
Perfect to come down and relax or to experience WW1 history.
