In the heart of the village of Septfonds, a large building built at the end of the 19th century by a hat maker. Napoleon III style, it will seduce you with its neat architecture, its high molded ceilings, its red brick pediment surmounted by a bull's eye dedicated to Neptune. In the park, a dry stone swimming pool, an outbuilding, under the shade of elm trees and centuries-old oaks. During the Belle Epoque, writers, artists and musicians stayed there. Edith Piaf was received there.
This characterful house will delight you with its original architecture as well as its modern comfort. In the center of the village, it is close to all amenities while maintaining the privacy necessary for swimming or sunbathing. This capacity is 20 people.
You will enjoy spacious and bright rooms, tastefully arranged and benefiting from all the necessary comfort for a pleasant stay.

Elegant and spacious

Lovely large house with traditional features. Lots of space for us all. House is well equipped. Garden area has mix of sun and shade as well as the pool which is bigger than we expected from the photos and was a welcome necessity given the temperature during the week of our stay. It was well used and was a cooling treat enjoyed by all of the family. Village is lovely with local bars, bakeries and a market. Lots of fantastic medieval places to visit nearby as well as canoeing along the river. We had an excellent time.

Good place

We had a good time. The house does not really sleep 21 unless you are happy with 5 people + sleeping in each room! Septfonds is not a very nice town but has the basics. Lots of nice places within 10-15 minutes drive though. Pool is slightly cold in mid-August and not perfect for kids. House is nice and quirky and beds were comfortable. Good dining area outside. Internet not very good. Claude was very welcoming and check-in / check-out was easy. So not perfect but we still really enjoyed our stay.

18 personnes de tous les âges. Site très beau, maison parfaitement adaptée, seul le bruit de la route est un petit so7ci à certaines heures de la journée. Accueil très sympathique.

Bon séjour

Belle demeure avec beaucoup de charme. des chambres spacieuses avec cabinet de toilette indépendant. Grande cuisine belle salle à vivre. jardin agréable avec piscine très agréable et fraîche. Le seul point négatif est la présence de la rue assez bruyante.
