This secluded resort is situated in Oahu, Hawaii in a beautifully landscaped, gated community that is just a half an hour from the excitement of Honolulu, and 17 miles west of the Honolulu airport. You'll be thrilled with the modern amenities - from complimentary Wi-Fi access to stunning beach and ocean views from your furnished lanai. This villa accommodation offers a full kitchen, living and dining areas, furnished lanai, washer/dryer, and spacious master suite with plush, king bed, and oversized soaking tub. The dining area has a table with seating for six. The living room has a queen size pull out couch, along with two side chairs. The second bedroom has a king size bed & pull out couch with its own bathroom, small kitchenette and lanai.

Enjoy lounging by any of the three outdoor pools or in one of seven whirlpools, working out in the state-of-the-art fitness center or indulging in the resort's on-site spa. The three pools include a children's pool, quiet reflection pool, and grotto pool with slide and pool bar. The resort supplies pool towels, and will exchange them for fresh towels throughout the day. All the pools have lounge chairs & umbrellas or cabanas for daily rental. The fitness center is open 24 hours a day, with the latest state of the art equipment. There are also daily yoga and exercise classes you can sign up for. You can schedule spa treatments, including outdoor massage.

This resort allows you to enjoy 2 on-site restaurants, a to-go market, a poolside bar, or enjoy cooking in your own villa or at the outdoor propane gas grills. There's also a weekly Polynesian dinner show known as the Fia Fia onsite Tuesday evenings, tickets available at the concierge. There are a number of other restaurants in the KoOlina resort area, within walking distance of your villa, or easy access on the free resort area shuttle.

The resort has an activity center with daily activities, some at no charge and others for a small fee. The activities are for all age ranges throughout the week, and have been known to include lei making, painting projects for children, hula classes, ukelele lessons, and other local crafts. There is an outdoor theater showing a family movie one night during the week, a Texas hold'em tournament for the adults is often held and other family activities. During the Easter weekend the resort holds an Easter egg hunt at the beach for children up to age 12.

This resort is an easy drive to all the different island attractions and activities you will want to enjoy. There is also shuttle pickup at the hotel for most of the major attractions and activities, if you choose not to rent a car. The concierge desk is open daily, and able to help you with any plans you want to make during your stay.

The city of Kapolei is just a short drive away with all shopping you may need. You can stock your villa with food for the week, find a restaurant, catch a movie at the local theater, or find other items. In the KoOlina resort area is a small food store, a number of restaurants, ice cream shop, and coffee shop, along with other resort properties.

There are walking/running trails throughout the KoOlina resort area, four lagoons span the coastline and are available for swimming, snorkeling or soaking in the sun on the beach.

This area is great for all ages, and whatever your vacation plans may be. You have the convenience of having a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom residence for the week, with the ability to eat in whenever you choose, do some laundry if you want to limit the number of clothing items you bring, or just enjoy sitting on the lanai looking out over the resort, beach and ocean. The villa also has 2 TVs, 1 in the bedroom and 1 in the living room.

If you choose to use the outdoor grills, you have a chance to enjoy the views, some with ocean view as your meal cooks, and talk with other guests. Many evenings there is nightly live local artists performing at the beach grill, so you can listen to the music as you are outside cooking. There are also grass areas nearby where children can play, as the food cooks.

Our family has enjoyed years of coming to this resort. Some years have been spent sightseeing and using this as our home base to rest up for the next day's activity, and other years have just been a relaxing getaway while staying on the property and enjoying all the activities and amenities available there. This is truly a wonderful setting to enjoy a family vacation, or a getaway with friends in the paradise of Hawaii.
