Old stone house in a hamlet overlooking the sea, with very beautiful sea view, in perfect condition, very bright south facing living room, very well equipped kitchen with sea view, 3 bedrooms, 2 with double bed each (160x200) and bathroom (bath) shared on the 1st floor and 1 in the attic with 3 double beds (140x190) and adjoining bathroom (shower) recent (2015), a large dressing room with shelves and wardrobe. A very large teak terrace with garden table, facing south east, and large enclosed garden, sea view. Facing south and east. Possibility of 10 beds (5 double beds). Very well equipped with television, DVD player, fridge freezer, oven, microwave oven, 5-burner gas stove, dishwasher, washing machine
linen, and dryer, internet. Garden deckchairs and garden furniture. 15 mins walk from the supermarket via a lovely walking path. 10 mins walk from the beach. Very pretty beach with Anglo-Norman houses and sailing club. Quiet house but close to all amenities.
Only restriction: no parties 🎈 in our house.

Very nice house with great view (only some limitations)

We stayed there for two weeks in August 2016 with 2 parents and three children (1,3,7 years old). The house is very nicely renovated and has high-class facilities and design, also books, comics, wifi etc. It has a great view from the terace. You can walk to the beach in 5-10 minutes, yet the nicer beach (with pure sand) is in the village (20 minutes walk). This latter beach is superb, especially for children. Limiting factors to be considered: - house has limited suitability for small children (no baby chair/bed, steep stairs etc.) - there will be an extra charge of EUR 50 for cleaning at the end - the location is in proximity (10 km or so) to the large nuclear waste treatment plant of La Hague - you have to bring bed sheets and towels, they are not provided - the garden is very nice, but quite steep (no football or so possible)

Maison confortable dans un très bel endroit.

Nous avons passé un bon séjour à 10 personnes. L'équipement de la maison correspond à l'annonce. La communication avec la propriétaire était très bonne et rapide. Pendant notre séjour, le lave-vaisselle ne fonctionnait malheureusement pas, mais la propriétaire nous a répondu rapidement et a essayé de résoudre le problème. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour.

Nice house, great location

Lovely property, with breath taking views from the garden terras. Just a short walk to the beach. Its still nice and not crowded. Not very touristic. There is a watersports centre nearby (20 min walk). They offer (kite) surf lessons, and also a kids programme. So for watersports lovers this is the ideal house. We had a great time here.

So wie Urlaub sein soll :-)

Wir haben mit 4 Erwachsenen und 3 Kindern eine traumhafte Woche in diesem wunderschönen Haus verbracht. Alles sah genauso aus wie auf den Fotos: das Haus, der Garten, die Terrasse: alles perfekt. Nette Örtchen sind in der Nähe, Urville ist zu Fuß ganz schnell erreicht (der Bäcker im Ort war geschlossen, aber es gibt einen mittelgroßen Supermarkt mit frischem Brot), der Strand ist noch viel näher. Wir würden jederzeit nochmals buchen.

Ruim huis met mooie tuin, prachtig uitzicht op zee. Heerlijk ontbijten in de eetkeuken in de ochtendzon. Ruime huiskamer met open haard. Prima slaapkamers waarvan 1 met eigen balkon. Slaapzolder voor kinderen met eigen badkamer met douche. Compleet ingericht wat betreft keukeninventaris; gezellige huiskamer en veel extra's zoals boeken en tijdschriften. We hebben als gezin een heerlijke week doorgebracht!

Normandie-Urlaub in Urville-Naqueville

Wir hatten eine schöne Woche in diesem Haus. Nach unserer Ankunft benötigten wir ca eine halbe Stunde um das Haus (Strom, Wasser, Gas usw.) in Betrieb zu nehmen und am nächsten Tag hatten wir auch warmes Wasser. Das Haus wird über die Küche betreten und von dort gelangt man über eine Stufe in das geräumige, gemütliche Wohn-Esszimmer. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Eine normale Kaffeemaschine wäre nicht schlecht! Vom Erdgeschoß gelangt man über eine schmale Treppe in die 1.Etage mit zwei Schlafzimmern (Betten 1,60 Meter). Das 1. Schlafzimmer hat einen sehr schönen Blick auf das Meer. Das 2. Schlafzimmer auf Nachbars Garten. Das Bad auf der gleichen Etage ist groß und hat Tageslicht, allerdings keine Dusche sondern eine Wanne. Im 1. Schlafzimmer gibt es einen Wandschrank im zweiten ZImmer eine kleine Ablagefläche. Das WC ist seperat. Von der 1. Etage führt eine schmale Stiege direkt unter das Dach. Hier sind auf zwei Ebenen 3 große Matratzen untergebracht, ideal für ältere Kinder oder Jugendliche und hier gibt es ein weiteres Bad mit Dusche, Waschmaschine und Trockner. Der Garten ist wunderschön und hat eine schöne Terasse mit großem Sitzplatz. Überhaupt ist es die Umgebung die begeistert, Meer, Schlösser, Wochenmärkte die guten Restaurants usw usw. Landschaftlich alles soo schön. Empfehlenswerte Restaurants sind das Cafe du Port in Omonville und das Le moulin a Vent mit fantastischer Fischqualität und einem sehr ambitionierten Koch! Es hat uns gut gefallen.

Wer dieses Haus mietet, wird begeistert sein!

Perfekter Urlaub gesucht? Dieses Haus macht´s möglich. Die Fotos sind ziemlich originalgetreu, keine Montage, also: Unglaubliche Lage und Ausblick auf die Bucht und den Strand. Dabei ziemlich windstill, man kann auch im Frühjahr sehr lange draußen sitzen auch wenn´s stürmt. Zum Wasser sind es zu Fuß drei Minuten, zum Strandabschnitt, der auch bei Flut noch vorhanden ist, ist es etwas weiter. Bis ins nette Örtchen Urville, wo es alles Grundlegende (Bäcker, Supermarkt) gibt, sind es zu Fuß max 10 Minuten. Die großen Hypermarches sind ca 10 km entfernt. Das Haus ist toll eingerichtet und war sehr sauber. Eine tolle Dusche unterm Dach. Die Schlafzimmer sind großzügig und nett eingerichtet. Das Zimmer ganz oben hat eine märchenhafte Atmosphäre. Die Treppen sind aber sehr steil und somit für kleine Kinder eher ungeeignet. Alle Geräte funktionierten einwandfrei, auch die Heizung lief ohne Probleme. Die Gegend ist vielseitig. Cherbourg ist eine lohnenswerte Hafenstadt. Die Landungsstrände sind mind eine Stunde weg. Zu den Dünen bei Biville an der Westküste des Cotentin braucht man eine halbe Stunde, was sich wegen der unglaublichen Landschaft auf alle Fälle lohnt. Das einzige (winzige) Problem sind die (für deutsche Autofahrer) ungewohnt engen Straßen und Einfahrten. Am Haus gibt es zwar zwei Parkplätze, die Einfahrten sind aber so eng, dass wir immer auf dem gegenüber liegenden öffentlichen Parkplatz geparkt haben, was aber überhaupt kein Problem war. Die Vermieterin Mme Moreau und ihr Mann waren extrem bemüht und freundlich. Wir hatten immer einen guten Kontakt, alle Wünsche wurden umgehend erfüllt. Dieses Haus ist seinen Preis absolut wert, v.a. in der Vorsaison, aber auch in der Hochsaison findet man nichts mit einem besseren Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Wir kommen wieder, auch wenn es aus Bayern schon ziemlich weit weg ist.
