Swimming, golfing, fishing, boating, “beaching” or simply relaxing in a place so unique, and so hidden from the rest of the world... your family will have a hard time saying goodbye. The home is located in a residential neighborhood, on a charming brick road, this 2 acre property features a 4 bedroom, 3 bath house with screened in porch, a huge patio facing golden sunsets and wonderful green lawns leading to a Private sugar sand beach. No bluffs or long stairways, just a quick walk over a private sand dune. For you boaters, a full service marina is located at the end of the street not a half-mile away!

Features: Features include a fully furnished kitchen, spacious living room and family room offering a 42” flat screen TV, cable and Internet ready. The master bedroom includes a king size bed with private full bath and beautiful lake views. Bedroom 2 includes a queen bed, bedroom 3 includes full bed, bedroom 4 offers 4 twin beds (2 sets of bunks). The attached screened in patio leads out onto a spacious deck perfect for relaxing with a bottle of wine and watching the sunset. Parking in front is easy for 4 cars and the garage includes a second refrigerator.

Surroundings: Located just 2 hours from downtown Chicago, St. Joseph offers shopping, local art fairs, festivals, wineries, weekend farmers markets and fine dining just a short drive up the road. Golf enthusiasts will be thrilled by the close proximity to the newly opened Jack Nicklaus designed Harbor Shores Resort and Golf Club. The first tee box is less than a mile away from your front door. For you boaters, a full service marina is located at the end of the street not a half-mile away! FUN FOR ALL AGES

We rented this large Beach House for a family reunion in mid-August. Our youngest is in college, so we had no children, but all of us loved everything about this rental: the house, the beach, the neighborhood, and Saint Joseph. We felt so lucky to have chosen a property in Saint Joseph where we drove to the Farmers Market on Saturday morning, concert on Friday night, and several microbreweries that interested our college-age grandchildren. We brought kayaks and bean-bag toss for the beach. While we were there we kayaked to the river and watched two weddings at the beach bordering the river and Lake Michigan. We walked for miles north and could have walked to South Haven but time gave out. No matter, we were on vacation and loving every minute! We rented two other vrbo properties in different states over the summer, and this property had the fewest rules, made it the easiest for us to check in and check out, and had parking for 5 vehicles. It is perfect for families or larger groups. The large backyard deck is a great place to hang out, and we did that daily.

BEAUTIFUL PROPERTY

The pictures do not do this home justice. It is so much more. A great place to have a family reunion or get together with friends. We were in St. Joseph for my daughters wedding and had the rehersal dinner at the house with about 40-45 people. EVERYONE said it was a perfect setting. Very spacious and a great place for entertaining. The home is so comfortable with everything you need except food and clothes. Extremely clean and comfortable. I wish we could have stayed longer! The beach is just beautiful! I would give this a 5 star rating! Hope we can make it make in 2013....

Great Beach House

Charming older 2-story home in a fantastic brick-lined street location & neighborhood that backs up to the beach. Much larger home than in pictures. Great deck & screened-in porch. Private beach was peaceful. Sunsets from beach were simply amazing! There wasn't anything that we needed that the kitchen didn't have. Owner and manager are incredibly accomodating and friendly. Our family had a great time!

WOW!!!!

This house and this beach are so much more than what we expected...charming interior, AMAZING beach, we've visited many beaches together and this is now by far our favorite fresh water beach...the waves and sand make you feel like you are in the tropics and it's all yours, very, very private. The best part about the property is that there are no stairs or cliffs to worry about. Getting to the beach was an easy walk. Our group had every age, easiest, very accomodating stay, kids had a blast (smores by the beach fire are a must) and the handicap accessible bathroom worked for my dad. It truly is a perfect family getaway. Hope we make it back!

Our Beach house will grab you with its warm family feel, the 'too good to be true' private beach and sunsets that rival any place on Earth - period!
