We loved the outside lanai area, it was very comfortable and relaxing. Watching the boats on the river was so nice, sitting on the boat dock we saw dolphins, pelicans, jumping mullet fish and all kinds of ducks and birds. The kitchen was fully stocked with every utensil we needed. The TV's on the Lania and bedroom were so nice. Shopping is close for groceries and plenty of restaurants. Jim & Rene were the perfect host and hostess. The house was very clean and comfortable. The game room with games and books was a very nice addition. We were looking to relax and this was perfect. 5 Stars.

The hosts Jim and Rene were so friendly and helpful. This was my first VRBO experience and it was magnificent. The house, the back yard, the lanai were all beyond wonderful. The pool and the hot tub were amazing. Jim and Rene thought of everything and we could not have asked for more. It was a very convenient location for all we had planned and worked out great. If I could I would give it a 10! If I ever get back down to Florida again it will be THE ONLY place I would even consider and will highly recommend it to all my friends and family. The setting is very tropical, serene and peaceful, plus being on the river gave a lot of enjoyment watching boaters passing by, looking for dolphins and manatee and those little fish that jump out of the water!! Plus all the waterfowl. We truly had a wonderful time.

Jim and Rene’ were the best hosts. They showed us everything in the house and how to operate the hot tub, which we loved, when we arrived. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. The pool, hot tub, lanai, yard, and dock are so nice and very relaxing. A great area that is convenient to everything we wanted to do. We will certainly be back. 5 out of 5!

Wonderful Experience

Our family had a great experience staying at Jim and Rene's home near Tampa. The home was inviting, spacious, and very clean. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and lanai the most and spent a lot of time outdoors. The home is also close to plenty of food, shopping, and entertainment. We went to Busch Gardens for a day as this is our all-time favorite theme park for the rides. We will definitely stay there again if headed to the Tampa area.

Golf & relaxing

We had a great time and truly enjoyed the entire experience. I would highly recommend this couple and they go out of their way to make it a fun place. For a family or group this is a good place to hang out and enjoy company. Plenty of things for everyone and easy to get to

Thank you for opening up your home and hosting Arlene and I over the past three weeks. This was the first time we have gotten away for this long and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The house and property are wonderful. It is so very quiet all day long and very peaceful to sit outside with the river in the background and no bugs. Games room – we did not get any time to enjoy that part of the house as we planned but look forward to it the next time. Dining room – while our daughter was here, we enjoyed family meals at the table and were very comfortable. Master Bedroom – Beautiful room. Master bath with shower, tub, and separate sinks were great ! Walk-in closet was far larger than we needed for three weeks, but great to have a place to hide away our luggage. Kitchen – WOW !! What a kitchen this is. I personally have never had the pleasure of using a gas stove and I loved it !!!! Everything that we could possibly need and then some is in the kitchen already. You have certainly thought of everything. Outside – Pool was GREAT, Spa was GREAT. We got to chat with Greg, your pool person and he was very nice. Weber Grill – this was GREAT…. I want one now. The home and location were perfect for what we were looking for (Golfing and relaxing away from the cold winter). Jim and Rene were great hosts leading up to, and during our vacation. Great communications and flexible. This location has access to everything we needed; restaurants, grocery, golf, Dunkin Donuts coffee.

Stay at Riverview House

The house was perfectly located near beaches, shopping and any store you may need. The beds were very comfortable. The house was well stocked with anything you may need. The back porch with pool/hot tub was amazing and the dock was so peaceful. Jim and Rene were excellent hosts! We will be back.

Our stay was perfect. If we didn't have things to see an do we could of stayed there an been very content. The hot tub an pool were very relaxing. Fishing from the dock an watching sting rays swim by was great. You could ask for a better place to stay. Jim and Renee were great an very helpful.

Great Place to Stay in Riverview

Riverview is an amazing place to stay. This home has everything you need and then some. Jim & Rene are wonderful hosts, they are very informative, pleasant and thoughtful. The home is very clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated. Beds are comortable, as is the living room with recliners. Pool and spa are great. View down to the river is just beautiful. Great location, quiet neighborhood. Highly recommend staying here.

The property is lovely and spacious. The caged pool, spa and deck were much appreciated. My husband spent hours fishing off the dock. The owners responded quickly to any questions. Quiet neighborhood. All in all a very relaxing time.

A wonderful relaxing summer

Spent 5 peaceful and restful weeks at this property and boy do I feel rejuvenated! Jim and Renee provide a top notch experience from checkin with our keyless entry and plenty of food for our first few meals to checkout flexibility and always wonderful timely communication. We even had to deal with a hurricane which wasn’t stressful at all thanks to the support and regular communication from the owners. This property is even more beautiful than the listings show and nice easy drive to Tampa and Orlando. Would definitely repeat this stay!

Very nice location. Wonderful lanai with hot tub and pool. Really enjoyed being able to have jets on in hot tub, without the blower on. This enabled us to talk, listen to music, or watch TV. Jim and Renée were super nice and very helpful.

Eager to please

A beautiful home and property owned by gracious hosts. It's obvious after meeting the host and reviewing comments left by other guests that suggestions for improving the experience are very much taken to heart and implemented. Everything from spa equipment upgrades to the manner in which a guest can prepare their breakfast toast has been suggested, and wherever possible, Jim and Rene make it happen. Lots of great features in the home and more things to do in and around Tampa than we had time for made for a pleasant vacation from a cold Pennsylvania winter.

We absolutely had the best time, Jim and Rene were the most gracious hosts and offer such a beautiful home for vacation and visiting our son. Can’t say enough about their home, it was everything we wanted our trip to be, relaxing! we used both the pool and hot tub daily and every morning enjoyed coffee on the docks while my husband fished, seeing the manatee and the tarpon was extra exciting for us! We enjoyed every moment and take away so many memories. Such a wonderful experience! Also got to experience great dinners at the Tiki Docks in Riverview and the Salt Shack in Tampa, both offered amazing food and drinks! Thank you Jim and Rene for the opportunity

Greatest vacation!!

Jim & Rene absolute greatest hosts we have ever had! Jim gave us a tour of his house and all our questions were answered. Did not have to call for anything but we knew he was only a phone call away if needed. Can not say enough about the house! It was immaculate and so well stocked. The kitchen lacked nothing !! The pool and patio were fabulous!! Enjoyed fishing on the dock and waving to the boaters! Thank you so much for sharing your home with us!! So many great memories to remember!!

Slice of Paradise on the River

Jim & Rene's home on the river was a suburb choice and an incredible oasis. Close to everything and yet it felt like we were staying at a quiet resort. Check-in was a breeze, our hosts gave us a tour of the property and explained all we needed to know about how to operate the electronics and pool/spa. We couldn't have asked for more congenial and personable owners. The house was impeccably clean, and well stocked with everything one could need for a Florida get away from beach chairs & towels, fishing gear and pool floats and every amenity for the kitchen and dining aspect of a rental home. We highly recommended this property and if FL ever calls to us to visit again this is certainly the place we will be going to. Thank you Jim & Rene for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Fabulous Experience

We had a fabulous time at this property; they have everything you could possibly want to make your vacation special. There is a heated pool and hot tub, lanai with bar and outdoor TV, the living room area has a TV and fireplace, and the beds are very comfortable. Everything is spotlessly clean and the showers have excellent water pressure. We sat on the dock at the river many mornings and evenings (they even furnish fishing poles if you want to fish!) We visited the Florida Aquarium, went to a Tampa Bay baseball game, enjoyed two different gulf beaches (they supply chairs and a cooler you can use), and did a dinner cruise out of Clearwater Marina. Everything was less than an hour or right at an hour away! Lots of great restaurants nearby or you can use their well-appointed kitchen to make your own meals. The hosts are very accommodating and communicative. We are already talking about when we can go back!

Peaceful and relaxing!

We had the most enjoyable stay in this beautiful home. It was spacious, clean, comfortable, and it had everything we could possibly want (and more!) Super comfortable beds, great water pressure in the showers, and tons of room to pit your clothes and belongings. We loved our mornings down on the dock, watching dolphins and fish. Taking walks around the neighborhood was a lot of fun. Neighbors were so friendly, and we were thrilled to see wild peacocks! We went in the pool everyday and loved making dinner in the very well-equipped kitchen. Eating dinner and watching movies out in the lanai was a favorite for us. Most times when we rent a house, we end up running out of things like toilet paper, soap, etc. Not here! Jim and Rene provide absolutely everything. They are so generous, welcoming and hospitable. We are heartbroken to leave and would love to return one day!

Great experience

This place is as it is advertised. The host is reachable very easily and responds very quickly to any inquiries. He is an extremely nice and patient person (I had a lot of questions :) ). The property is really good - location, cleanliness and amenities (pool and lanai are the best ever! - we spent there almost every day even when going to the beach; the games available there included my favorite: scrabble and Jenga). I truly felt like it was MY home away from the home. :) There are plenty of places around to go out. Our fav's were Ford's Garage and Keke's. Host has numerous recommendations that we tried and all were good. :) If I come back to this area, I will for sure check if this house is available and I will recommend to others who plan to go to that area. We are very happy to have the opportunity to stay there and experience the house and the area. Thank you. :)
