In the village of Hauterives and 150 meters from the Ideal Palace of the Horse Factor, it is quiet in a former caretaker restored in 2019 and is the cottage.
Its entrance is from a furnished terrace of 30 m² oriented Northeast to access a living room with a kitchen, a dining table and a seating area. On the ground floor, an accessible room for people with reduced mobility (bed 140) has a bathroom and a toilet. A second bathroom with walk-in shower and separate toilet are dedicated to the 2 bedrooms located on the 1st floor (4 beds 80 can be combined into 2 beds of 160). They are served by a corridor along the imposing brick fireplace. A secure storage room for your bikes and a shelter for motorbikes can be provided free of charge.
"Ideally" located to radiate in the Drôme hills, the location of this cottage allows you to enjoy the heritage and local products: Foyer Charity Marthe Robin (7 km), and within a radius of 30 km, the medieval city from Saint-Antoine l'Abbaye (38), the vineyards of the Rhône coast (Cornas, Saint-Joseph, Crozes-Hermitage, ...) or the City of Chocolate (Valrhona) in Tain l'Hermitage.
Hauterives is also a starting point for many hiking or mountain biking (maps available at the cottage) and has an intercommunal pool less than 500 m (2 pools suitable for young and old and a brewery).
The tourist dimension of the village thanks to the Palais Idéal - 170 000 visitors a year - ensures all year round a variety of shops (Tuesday market) and entertainment accessible by the pedestrian street 50 m.
