Weekend visit to Williamsburg

We were happy with our accommodations at Greensprings when we visited our friends in Williamsburg. Good location with easy access to everything we wanted to do. Rooms were large and comfortable. Except for the bullfrogs at the pond, it was a nice, quiet environment. Fun long weekend with lots of laughter and catching up with old friends.

The reservation was changed to Historic Powhatan, which was wonderful and very helpful when we found we could not access the original unit because it was not wheelchair accessible although it had been confirmed with the owner more than once. The resort found us a unit we could use and it was wonderful. But I am afraid to make future arrangements through VRBO due to this issue.

I was a bit disappointed with this facility, first the customer service a check in was disappointing. It took about 25 minutes and I was the second person in line, second, we got to the room and there was a old milk container of Lactaid in the refrigerator that smelled really bad, the carpets were filthy. The floors were wet. The towels had not been replaced so we only had a couple. The deck had nail sticking up and I cut my toe on one of the nails. So like I said, it was disappointing.

Our family had a nice time. Property was clean and grounds were beautiful. Wish we would have known the 2 br has a pull out couch sooner, we wouldn’t have reserved the 4 br lock off. The 2 br was enough space for our family of 6.

Just an ok place

First room was dirty when we arrived. We had to wait about 2 hours to get into a condo. Everything was ok after that. But I’m not sure it was really worth what we paid for it. We were on a split level. When floor plan showed all together. Pretty long walk uphill to use the condo amenities such as the pool that we had to pay for.

Golf Trip

Our party consisted of four senior golfers playing in a national tournament at a nearby golf course. The condo was perfect for our needs. All the rooms were spacious and the space was well appointed. I would highly recommend this condo to other vacation renters.
