Family Trip
We had a group of 13 and stayed in two separate units. The adjoining units advertised in the listing appealed to us, but when we tried to book, adjoining units were not available, and we ended up with separate units. When we arrived, the front desk attendant was very accommodating and tried to get the two units as close together as possible - they were on opposite ends of the same floor of the same building. This was fine, but one of the units had a strong cigarette smoke smell, and the other smelled like fried food. The front desk found another unit to replace the cigarette smoke unit, but this ended up being in a separate building, which was not ideal. The units themselves are nice and big with fairly well equipped kitchens. There was plenty of room for our group. The cleanliness of the units was so-so. We noticed our feet were black after walking on the carpets/throughout the units. The property is nice with two pools and games like mini golf and billiards to occupy the kids. We’ve stayed here several times before and generally like the property and proximity to Williamsburg attractions. It is a short driving distance to most restaurants/attractions. The price offered by this particular VRBO listing seems pretty high compared to previous bookings, but this could be the dates we picked/number of people.
