The house is great right on the water with amazing views overlooking the shipyard. My family and I had a good time staying here and would come back and also recommend it to others.
This is our second time visiting and it does not disappoint! Such a cozy home on the sound with amazing views of the Naval Yard and tons of active wildlife (harbor seals, sea otters, Bald Eagles and more)! The hot tub on the deck is relaxing and has a great view. The host has created a charming seaside escape within driving distance of many beautiful sights Washington has to offer. We would definitely stay again!
Wonderful place to stay! This location has been on my wishlist for over a year, if you are considering it-just book it!!! We enjoyed the private waterfront location, cornhole, and hot tub. Everything you need is there making the stay very enjoyable and easy!!!
Lovely house with wonderful views. Very high beds were difficult for an 80 year person with back issues. Suggest little steps would help greatly.

Thank you for your review, glad you had a lovely stay. Yes we understand the bed is high, we have a step stool in the closet, wish you mentioned something I would’ve told you where to find it.
This was our third stay at Rachel house. I have to mention the view is wonderful, being right on the water is fantastic for watching wildlife. Rachel is a top notch host, the house was decorated for Valentines day and she left out some little treats. I'd recommend this place to anyone thinking of staying in the area.
This lovely home had everything we needed. My only suggestion is people should know the driveway is steep before booking as it may determine the car they bring with them. Other that suggestion everything was perfect!

Thank you so much for your feedback, yes I agree about the driveway but it has been in description of the property for a long time.
Beautiful home. Our daughter moved up there in March from Texas we had a beautiful Christmas with her in this home . We so enjoyed our stayThe view was amazing every morning to wake up to. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook Christmas dinner of Seafood gumbo.we will book this home again.
The host had the fans and everything going for us, it was a warmer day when we checked in. The view is indescribable and amazing to be that close to the water rain or shine. Wonderful amenities and clean! Close to the marina and downtown and beds and furniture were comfortable. We loved our stay!
We had a lovely stay. We had a great time at this beautiful property, which was accurate to its online listing. I will definitely recommend it to my friends and family!
Tucked back yet right on the Sinclair River across from the Naval Shipyards, this place features a ferry dock for easy trips to the Seattle area. It’s beautiful by day and offers vibrant city lights at night. The Host was very easy to contact by text. The driveway was a little tricky to navigate on the busy road. You are welcomed with a towel, a hand towel, shampoo, conditioner, and body-cleaning tubes. As you enter the kitchen, a bottle of wine and a snack await you. The whole home is themed with naval artifacts, tying the experience together. The beds were very comfortable, although they can be challenging to get up into if you're small. With only a day to enjoy, we chose to relax and visit Port Orchard, where we discovered a family-owned candy shop making delicious fudge every morning. Overall, it’s a relaxing place to unwind, enjoy the huge yard, and, with binoculars, spot ship details. Further down to the left, you can even see ships being assembled.
