Perfect Weekender.

This adorable place is perfectly located within walking distance Fish Town. The house is the ideal set up for a wonderful wine weekend or just a place to relax and enjoy the colors and happenings of one of norther Michigans most spectacular peninsulas.

Wonderful House in Leland

This property was lovely for a quick getaway with the wife and baby. The proximity just steps away from shops and dining in Leland in unbeatable. Although we only used 2 of the bedrooms, there is plenty of space for an entire family. We enjoyed evenings and morning coffee on the covered front porch. Will definitely stay here again for future visits to the area.

Great Biking

The property was perfect for us. We are a group of 6 adults, all over 70, who bicycle regularly in North Michigan. This was a great location in an enjoyable community. Would be even more enjoyable once the pandemic is past. And we hope to do so again

Great location and cute house!

A group of 6 girls stayed here for a bachelorette party. We spent every morning and evening on the porch relaxing, and had quick access to just about everything. Also the style of the house was just cozy and cute! I would recommend always checking when places/restaurants close nearby, because a lot of places close early!

Location! Location! Location!

The location of the River Grand House is wonderful! It is walking distance to everything! We were able to walk to our daughters rehearsal dinner at the Riverside Inn and then walk over to the Lodge for after dinner drinks. It is roomy and well appointed. Also, we were very appreciative to have a high chair for our baby grandson. Overall very pleased! Thank you Mary Lou!

Great property with one significant issue

Great house in a fantastic location. However, one significant problem that is easy to fix and will hopefully be done by the owners. The house has no air conditioning which is not normally an issue in northern Michigan since the nights get cool. However, most of the windows in this house have no screens and of the windows that have screens - most are damaged. When we checked into the house, the interior temp was 79 degrees and it never got much cooler than that (because we couldn't open most windows without letting the bugs in). This made it very difficult to sleep. With this one easy fix, we would stay there again. Without it, I would find another place to rent.

Our stay at this beautiful home right in walking distance to everything was absolutely amazing. . We had a wedding at The Old Art building, we could walk there in our heels (we are in our 50s) and it was absolutely no problem.Beds were great slept wonderfully.Vans beach is lovely, just beautiful. Thank you again for such a wonderful time.

This home was very close to everything including Leland, Lake MI beaches and Lake Leland. We loved the ability to walk everywhere. The house was very cute and set up perfect for family or multiple friends. Bathrooms and wrap around porch were wonderful. Mary checked in on us to make sure we had power after a storm, which was appreciated.We did have a few frustrating challenges. There is no air conditioning in the home, which we knew. There are plenty of fans. But we arrived on a 90 degree day and many screens were not in including one we had to climb on roof to get. Many of the windows had small half screens we had to search the home for and windows would not stay open. For the fee we had to pay for cleaning I was frustrated with being left a broken dishwasher with dirty dishes from last guest.Some of the floors were not as clean as expected including pills on one upstairs room floor.If these things were fixed rental would be perfect.

Great Getaway For The Girls!

The house was in the perfect location - we walked to everything in Leland and things in Lake Leelanau and Suttons Bay were a quick drive away! The house was clean and the owner responded quickly to questions. The best parts were the firepit outside and the big couch in the basement!

Weekend Celebration

Came into town to celebrate a nearby wedding. This was in a great location. On our off time we were able to walk to town and explore Leland and Fishtown. Lovely, quiet neighborhood. Will definitely consider staying here again in the future.

Fishtown wedding weekend

This spot was perfect for 8 friends in town for a wedding at the Old Art Building. The house had a good mix of queen and twin beds to accommodate single and partnered people. Easy walk to town, clean accommodations, and a great fire pit out back.

Wonderful!

Beautiful house plenty of space for our family of 5. Loved the big porch and how close it was to town. Also a great launching spot to explore all over Leelanau peninsula!

Grand River House Leland

The home is updated and in a great location. TV room in basement is brand new. Great place for kids to hang out. Landscape is updated but grass still needs work. Linens and towels were nice. Some board games were there. Grill appears new and was easy to use. An added plus was the Culligan water cooler. We used it all the time as the tap water was not the best tasting. It does not have air conditioning but many fans. Luckily, we had cool evenings. My biggest complaint would be lack of screens on all the windows since there is no AC. The property managers are easy to work with and addressed any concerns promptly. Recommend the property and hope to stay again
