Very beautiful Provencal villa on one level, facing south, quiet, in a large garden, with swimming pool and magnificent mountain views, located on the heights of the village of Montauroux.
Calm neighborhood. Rest assured.
Ideal for spending holidays with family or friends.


Near Lac de Saint-Cassien and 35 minutes from the seaside.

Fayence, which is a few minutes from the villa, is the largest of the 5 pretty villages perched in a magnificent valley which overlooks the Esterel massif. It offers the beauty of its squares, its restaurants, its bars and all the animation of a typical small French town, but with easy access to the beaches and the nightlife of the neighboring Côte d'Azur: Cannes, Nice, Saint-Tropez and Monte Carlo. The lively Fayence market is held on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
For golfers, the Four Seasons Golf Club at Terre Blanche is a short drive away. You will also find fabulous spas at Terre Blanche or Domaine de Fayence, while Tourettes offers some of the best places to practice gliding.
Lac de Saint-Cassien, a beautiful freshwater lake, where you can practice fishing, boating, kayaking, paddle boating, horse riding or eating out is 10 minutes away.

For winter, winter sports resorts are available one hour north of Fayence.
North of Fayence is the Audibergue, a small ski resort, perfect for beginners, about 45 minutes from the villa. For experienced skiers, Gréolières-les-Neiges has larger slopes between 1,400 and 1,800 meters in altitude over 30 km and is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes away.

Lovely house in a beautiful area. VERY well maintained and spotlessly clean. Fantastic pool! Easy walk in to the village and perfect location for day trips to Monaco, Nice, St Tropez etc. Host was VERY responsive and helpful.

A wonderful house for all three generations of our family. The pool and outside dining area were perfect for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful view after a day of sightseeing. The owner and his neighbor were helpful and responsive to our needs. Montauroux and the neighboring hilltop towns were easy to reach from the villa.

FABULOUS VILLA

We had a really lovely holiday at the villa for 7 nights. It is in a great location not too far from the quaint village of Montauroux and within easy driving distance to the fabulous Lake St Cassien and surrounding areas. The star of the show is the large swimming pool. It really is wonderful and provided plenty of relief on hot summer days. The views out over the mountains are magnificent and the indoor, outdoor flow to the pool and BBQ area is superb and meant that everyone in our group could be involved in conversation whether they were swimming, BBQing, relaxing on the sun loungers or enjoying a cool drink in the shade at the outside dining table. The kitchen is well equipped and the lounge/dining areas are wonderfully appointed with doors opening up to the patio and gardens. There are 3 good size bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and the 4th upstairs bedroom, although smaller has it's own shower and large balcony overlooking the pool. The grounds are large and Francois (the extremely friendly & helpful neighbour) comes by early everyday to check the pool and assist with any requirements. We would highly recommend a stay at this villa, we only wish we had longer.

Heerlijk huis op een prachtige locatie

We hebben een heerlijke week gehad. Het huis voldeed aan de verwachtingen. Het huis ziet er gezellig uit en is ruim opgezet, waardoor we allemaal onze eigen kamer en badkamer hadden. Het zwembad is ruim, er zijn voldoende ligbedden en je kunt heerlijk buiten eten. Er is een pingpongtafel en ook jeux de boules. ‘s morgens kun je (als je dat fijn vindt) in ca 20 minuten naar de bakker lopen. Er is een mooi meer (Lac de Saint-Cassien) waar je even lekker kunt zwemmen, suppen of waterfietsen. Leuk eettentje, en veel bomen, waardoor je in de schaduw kunt liggen. Is iets van 10 min. met de auto. Verder zijn er diverse leuke restaurantjes in Montaureux of de andere dorpjes en bijv. een dagje Nice (50 min) is ook leuk om te doen.

Philippe ist ein toller Ansprechpartner und sehr bemüht, ebenso der Nachbar Francsuar welcher sich bestens um uns gekümmert hat. Pool toll, Innenbereich und Ausstattung war super. Einzige Abzüge beim WLAN (funktionierte nicht da der Vertrag nicht verlängert wurde) und die Lage da man zum Strand bzw. nächst größere Städte immer gut eine Stunde brauchte. Das ist allerdings nur unsere Beurteilung. Nachbarn sind weit entfernt und es gab keine Probleme.

Mehr Pool geht nirgends

Ein tolles Ferienhaus mit einem riesigen Pool. Dieser hat bisher alles getoppt. Die Anlage ist schön gepflegt mit einem super Ausblick und viel Platz zum nächsten Nachbarn. Man ist wirklich für sich und ungestört. Es fehlt zwar der Rasen, aber das ist in den Regionen wohl der Temperatur geschuldet. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter ist auch sehr freundlich und schnell. Auch François der regelmäßig den Pool & Co checkt ist sehr freundlich und versucht mit Händen und Füssen ein Gespräch herzustellen. Die Bäder könnten in den nächsten Jahren mal eine Sanierung erleben. Das einzelne WC würden wir anstelle des Bidet in das Bad setzen. Das macht mehr Sinn zwecks Händewaschen. Ansonsten ist es ein Standard wie in vielen deutschen Wohnungen auch, wir sind nur verwöhnt durch ein neues Haus, da gibt es eben Hänge-WC und begehbare Dusche. Das setzt den eigenen Standard nach oben. Aber prinzipiell war alles schön sauber. Wir waren mit 5 Erwachsenen und 3 Kindern (6-11Jahren) dort. Ein zusätzliches Babybett gibt es auch noch. Wir empfehlen die Location definitiv weiter. Es ist ein guter Standort um die Cote d'Azur zu erkunden. Fußläufig kommt man in die kleine Alstadt mit einigen Restaurants. Den Bergweg sollte man auf jeden Fall gehen :) Danke Philippe!

Gorgeous house and setting

Terrific owner who communicated well and sorted small initial problems quickly. Garden and pool area are fabulous with really comfortable sunbeds. Kitchen is incredibly well equipped which I loved as I enjoy cooking. Bed rooms are a bit on the small side but well air-conditioned. Bathrooms are old fashioned French style but worked well. Slightly unusual layout of bedrooms - one is only accessed inside through the master bedroom but one can use patio doors to enter from outside. Fourth bedroom can only be entered from the exterior. Village of Montauroux is very close and charming. We had a really lovely relaxed holiday and would love to revisit this comfortable villa.
