HOUSE DESCRIPTION:
Welcome to Turtle Tides located in the heart of Surfside Beach only 0.3 miles north of the Surfside Pier! Boasting 3500 square feet, this home offers an open living and dining area with a well-equipped kitchen to include all large and small appliances, dinnerware, cookware, glassware, and utensils to prepare and serve meals. The main living are equipped with a TV plus an additional sitting area on the second floor with a TV followed by a master bedroom with a spacious stand-up shower and Jacuzzi tub. Exterior amenities include a spacious furnished pool area and parking for six vehicles. Please see our Pet Policy that applies to all Pet-friendly homes, which is strictly enforced.

Sea Star Realty offers the most luxurious linens in the area. Including resort-quality plush towels, hand towels, face cloths, bath mats, and high thread-count sheets of superior quality for each bed in your vacation home (including sofa beds). In each bath, you’ll find complimentary elegant soaps. Waiting for you in your kitchen are kitchen towels, along with some complimentary items, including dish soap, and a kitchen sponge. Best of all, the beds will be made prior to your arrival and towels pre-hung in the bathrooms!

We where the host of 6 couples for Bike Week 2024

It was prefect. The property was walking distance to the beach. The house was spacious and suitable for all of us. Parking our bike under the carport was superb. The pool was heated and we where able to enjoy a night swim.

The walk to the beach is short, and there are so many things to do within walking distance: restaurants, shops, the pier, and a park. A quick golf cart ride gets you to even more shops, great places to eat, and coffee spots. It’s a cute little town that clearly wants to be a family vacation destination.Lastly, Sea Star Realty is top notch. They communicate extremely well, and it’s obvious that customer service is a priority for them.

Turtle Tides Family Vacation

Overall, the property worked very well for us. The grandkids really enjoyed the pool and we all appreciated the short walk to the beach. The pool was well maintained. The home itself suited our needs but needs a "deep cleaning". There were a few items that were a bit of a distraction: the carpet in the master bedroom did not appear to be vacuumed, the master shower had mildew/mold on the grout and the floor of the bathroom was clean except for the corners; the freezer drawer was hard to pull out and the ice maker wasn't working. All of these are not show stoppers, just little disappointments that should be addressed. We did have a good vacation except that our flight down was delayed and flight home cancelled. We purchased VRBO trip insurance but I'm not optimistic we'll receive any compensation. It seems like the policy covers a few very specific flight cancellations only.
