A perfect compromise between a rustic vacation and the modern amenities of a lodge, Cherokee Fiddle is ideal for large family vacations. With a maximum occupancy of 8 guests, there is room here for all the kids and maybe a few friends as well.
This true log cabin has all the rustic features you could want – A large covered front porch with plenty of seating for long evening talks, a porch swing ready for you to enjoy an early morning coffee, wide open level property full of adventure and fireflies, and if the weather turns bad you can move the group to the large screened in back porch.
Inside you will appreciate the large open living room and spacious kitchen. A large bar and small table provides plenty of room for family meals. Enjoy movie night in front of the electric fireplace before heading off to bed. Sleeping arrangements give you a king size bed in the downstairs living room and 2 queen size beds in the upstairs loft. There is also a full size pull out sofa in the living room.
Cherokee Fiddle sits on a large wooded lot just minutes from all your favorite Hochatown area restaurants, shopping, and outdoor activities. The circle drive and parking area have plenty of room for you to bring a boat or ATVs. And the lake and riding trails are just a few miles down the road.

Located in the heart of Kiamichi country lies the incomparable splendor of Broken Bow, Oklahoma. Surrounded by the natural beauty of Beaver’s Bend State Park, the Ouachita National Forest and the Kiamichi Mountains, this is the place to lose yourself in hunting, fishing, hiking, canoeing. The place to find yourself while surrounded by tall pines, crisp rivers and clean mountain air. The place to make memories that you will draw on for a lifetime.
The Beavers’ Bend / Hochatown area does not have public transportation. There is at this time a private ride share company that will pick up and drop off between most cabins and area attractions, restaurants, shopping, etc. There is currently not any Uber or Lyft options.
All cabins located in the Hochatown area are 5 to 15 minutes from most destinations around the lake and park. This of course depends on traffic. Summer and other peak holidays experience higher traffic, typically Fridays after 2pm and Saturdays between 10am and 4pm. Offpeak weekends and midweek stays should expect shorter traffic times
Cabins located further north of Hochatown are an additional 15 to 30 minutes from the Hochatown area. This additional distance should not be impacted by traffic.
The park and lake itself are free to enter, there is however a fee to park.
During peak periods you should plan on a wait at most restaurants.
This property is NOT pet friendly.
Check in time is 4PM or later. Check out time is 11AM. Additional fee of $100 will apply to late check-outs unless otherwise approved. All cabins are Non-smoking. Pets are welcome at Kiamichi Cabins on a Cabin by Cabin Basis with the following restrictions: Maximum of two (2) dogs. If bringing a single dog, the weight limit is 80lbs. If bringing 2 dogs, the weight limit per dog is 40lbs. No dogs are to be left unattended. All dogs must be kenneled if left at cabin. Dogs are not allowed on the beds or on the furniture.
