Great location in the Foothills near hiking and restaurants.
Scenic location in the foothills with easy access to activities and dining options. House is cozy and comfortable with everything you need for your stay. Property’s landscaping is gorgeous.
We have stayed in this property a number of times and always enjoy it. The outside spaces and views of the Catalinas add greatly to our enjoyment and our host is always helpful.
We loved staying here! It was exactly as advertised, clean and well appointed. The owners' communications with us were perfect. We are birders and were delighted with the desert scrub habitat all around us. We saw an amazing array of birds during our visit, including many that would not normally be considered "backyard birds." The location was convenient to many restaurants and parks.
You know that you’re in for a magical experience as soon as you drive through the gardens of mature native plants to the house. Open the door to your stay where you will find a welcoming and well-appointed upscale home, complete with libraries, games, fireplaces, and a well-appointed kitchen. Numerous sitting and gathering areas are sprinkled inside and out, so there is also a place to eat, sip coffee, read, and talk – or just to take in the serenity of this place. You’ll love the cavernous bedroom suite, with its veranda, walk-in closet, and jetted tub. Enjoy fabulous views from every room, from the Catalina Mountains to the City of Tucson, and from beautiful sunrises to spectacular sunsets. We did. And, we WILL be back!
We chose this property because of its location in the Catilina Foothills. The downstairs is well equipped for an extended stay. There are 3 large sliding glass doors that lead out to a covered patio with BBQ, giving you a great view of the cacti, flowers, mountains and wildlife. Upstairs is a covered porch with dramatic views of the sunsets on the mountains.
Although it is an older home, it is well equipment for an extended stay. We enjoyed the Mexican tiles around the fireplaces and having the feeling of staying in a hacienda.
The home sits well back from the road and is quiet and accommodated our B class RV. If you are looking to be around saguaro, this is the place for you.

Beautiful setting. Quiet. We enjoyed the various seating areas outside. We either prepared our own meals or did takeout. Grocery stores, pharmacy and places to eat ( or take out) were close by.
We loved this charming casa. The host met us and gave us a tour when we arrived. He was very nice and even though this rental home is attached to the owners home, we never saw or heard anyone else after that. The grounds are lovely. The king sized bed was very comfortable. Overall, we loved it and would definitely stay here again!
We enjoyed our stay very much. The house is quiet and peaceful, and makes a perfect location for various hiking trips. The house was clean, and had all we needed. Very comfortable beds, personal decor made us feel like at home.
The hosts are wonderful. Their prompt and friendly responses were greatly appreciated. This property is a gem. It's located in a very scenic area. Food, groceries and shops are nearby. The property sits well off the road and is very quite and peaceful. The entire property is beautifully landscaped and provides guests a park like setting. The inside is welcoming and nicely decorated. We enjoyed the natural sunlight of the living area. The kitchen is well stocked for preparing meals. All appliances are newer and in great working order. The upstairs (bedrooms) were fantastic. Very well furnished and has a comfortable bed. We really liked the view of the city lights from the wall of bedroom windows. We appreciated the soaking tub especially after having sore legs from hiking in some of the nearby canyons. Highly recommend this proeprty.

It is a singular pleasure to share our oasis in the Sonoran Desert, especially with people who take the time to experience and enjoy it.
I hope that Kathy and Jim will come back; it would be a pleasure to welcome them again. They are the most considerate of guests.
