About this property

Mammoth Ski & Racquet Club #51 - Pet Friendly

MSRC #51 has been fully renovated and receives lots of sunlight. This two bedroom two bathroom has a new modern full kitchen. New appliances and cabinets. New flooring and paint throughout. Please respect the light color carpet downstairs and avoid shoes or dirty pets. Colorful and unique, every room has it's own personality. Upstairs bathroom has a walk in shower and new vanity. Towel warmers are included for that extra warmth after a shower. Downstairs bathroom has a large deep soaking tub and also has a towel warmer.

This condo is close to the pool, two spas, saunas, recreation room and community barbecues.

Maximum Occupancy: This unit sleeps 6 people and your pet is welcome.

Bed Arrangement: The master bedroom has a queen bed. The second bedroom has a queen, a set of bunk beds, TV, and VCR.
The living room has a TV, VCR, DVD.

Unit Amenities: The full sized kitchen is complete with stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator, dishwasher, dishware, and cooking materials! For those cold winter nights, get cozy next to the propane fireplace!

On Site Amenities: Coin operated washing machine and dryers are located in each unit building. MSRC provides a heated pool during the summer and indoor jacuzzi all year. Located in the pool area are BBQ grills. There is also a recreation/game room complete with a pool table, soda machine, and TV!

Views: This condo enjoys a view of the Sherwin Mountains and Crowley Lake.

You can walk or take a short drive to Canyon Lodge (apprx ½ a mile) or catch a free shuttle to Mammoth Village (apprx 1 mile) just down the street.

Towels and linens are supplied but extra towels for the pool/jacuzzi are not supplied. There is 1 blanket per bed, please bring extra blankets if you tend to get cold.
Internet is provided as a complimentary service and is not guaranteed. No discounts/refunds will be given for connectivity problems/failure.

Parking: 1 vehicle guaranteed. For 2nd vehicle, it is a first come first serve basis; please check in with office first.

On site management is accessible 24/7 and snow removal is performed as the snow falls for uninhibited access.

What wasn't mentioned was the fact that it is only 4 steps to the condo from the garage level, and the BBQ was just outside of our building.The property was clean and appeared well-maintained.Great customer service as I needed to change to different condo after my family added a dog.Yes, I would recommend the entire facility to all that ask as we have been renting from them for many, many years.This year we enjoyed the variability of the weather, but still had a great experience!

Great place to stay. Well run. Our condo G64 was clean, well decorated and all you need to stay. Only criticism is 3 flights of stairs to navigate several times a day.

Great location and well appointed condo. The only drawback would be 1 mattress in the larger bedroom w/ the bunk beds - it was awful and had an even harder topper on it (that we took off). Great place, would definitely stay again (and make sure i got the better mattress).

The unit is very well stocked - anything and everything needed as there. The living room is smaller than it photographs and there's not really enough seating space for more than 3-4 people in the living room without using the dining room chairs as well. Beds were comfortable. A couple of pieces of furniture were broken, but they were tucked aside. No cable TV option, but there was a cord to attach to a laptop.

#51 Terrible

We were very upset with unit 51 due to cleanliness of unit as it was very old, dirty dirty carpets, and furniture and whole unit in need of update. The front office was very kind with excellent guest service and provided us with an option of another unit 105 which was excellent!

Great Location and Had All We Needed

Check in was smooth and the property was well stocked with kitchen supplies and other amenities. Between the fireplace and the abundance of wall heaters we stayed very warm. There were even humidifiers in the bedrooms which was great! Beds were comfy and linens were nice. The condo is walking/skiing distance from Canyon Lodge so we didn’t have to hassle with parking. Our dog was also happy with condo due to an outdoor pet area that was right next door. Only criticisms are that some of the flooring, seating and window coverings were pretty dated and could use some repair or replacement. However this is pretty standard for a lot of the older condos we’ve stayed at in Mammoth. “Mammoth Chic” we call it. We would rent again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Didn't have any large issues, but the place does need some good TLC. I can see this as great for a bunch of college aged guys for a ski weekend. Lamps were broken, blinds falling down and the furniture was different than in the photos. Some of the legs on the new chairs were taped together. Some cob webs hanging from the bunk beds and lamps and some of the dishes were dirty inside the shelves. We had to re-wash everything before cooking. I never received the check in information from the Property Management company, but after a brief call they were helpful and I was able to get information. Due to COVID everything is contactless and very easy, just needed to know what to do. I don't think I would stay here again based solely on the condition of the property, but everything else was fine.

Great location

I am giving it only 3 stars cause the furniture and curtains are in terrible shape. We couldn't even open some of them to get some sunlight in the condo that was advertised as 'sunny'. The dining room chairs were a hazard. The living room coffee table was missing the glass, so that you couldn't put anything on that part. Other than that, the beds were great, and the location was great as well with the ski back trail when you come back home.

Not what we expected

The property stated that it slept 8 and only slept 6. Many items like the curtains, partition, oven fan was not working and one of the rooms were very cold. The management company were very nice to supply us with a heater and refunded us for only sleeping 6. The unit was ok but we were very disappointed when we arrived. The location was great!
