Michael, sorry to hear that you found your rental to be in less than pristine condition. In the rare occasion that this does occur, we encourage our guests to allow us to fix any items that may have been overlooked. I hope that you reached out to customer service with these concerns so that we may do our part in addressing the issues. Thank you for your feedback. We sincerely apologize that the cleanliness of the unit fell short; as a result, we issued a refund to address those concerns. To clarify the points regarding your stay: Availability: While an extra day was initially mentioned, the unit had scheduled construction immediately following your departure. Our system does not automatically flag construction as "unavailable," which caused the confusion regarding your late checkout request. Communication: Our team strives to be as accommodating as possible. Our staff was not being dishonest, but once a request is denied, there are only so many ways to explain our operational limits while attending to other guests. Unit Damage: Following your departure, we discovered damaged items throughout the unit that were not reported during your two-week stay and for which your party denied responsibility. We take these matters seriously as we work to improve our services.

We have relayed to our maintenance team to check the upstairs shower for any hot water issues. Our units all come with napkins, trash bags and sponges, we have relayed this message to our housekeeping staff as this should have been available.
