Our stay over Christmas

The property was very cold when we arrived and there were only 2 plug in heaters to warm up the bedrooms whilst waiting for the log burner to add some warmth. At this time of year you advise a heater for each room and in use prior to guest arrival.

La Caminada

Je vais écrire en anglais, parce que mon francais n'est pas assez bon pour écrire une évaluation en francais. Well... We went there for a two-week-family-holiday (two adults and four kids at 18, 17, 11 and 8 years of age). The description of the house is very good and correct. The house is equipped with almost anything you may need during a longer stay. Nothing is really lacking; the equipment is rather complete. Even for some litte comfortable things was taken care of (like the massage-lounger for example - it was used quite often... ;-) ). The house is furnished very lovingly - in every room you can feel the love and the heart, the landlady and the landlord brought in while furnishing the house. Beautiful and big terrace, where we always had breakfast. Parking is possible directly in front of the house, a little store (food, fresh vegetables, drinks, fresh bread in the morning...) is directly across the street. The distances from the house to the most important settings are (by car): - the Mediterranean (for bathing in the sea, beautiful beaches and coastlines) 90 minutes - Carcassonne (famous medieval city) 90 minutes - the Pyrenees (for hiking, skiing, visiting famous caves and much more) 50 - 70 minutes As you see the house located to perfectly combine a holiday at the sea with a holiday at the mountainside. Last to mention is the communication with the landlady and the landlord. They were very friendly, very helpful and absolutely straightforward. We would return there immediately!!! Mme. et M. Appréciation gîte Fougax et Barrineuf

Nous n'avons pas vu les propriétaires, ni à l'arrivée ni au départ. Les clefs sont mises dans une boîte à clefs et remises à la fin du séjour. Échanges uniquement par Mel. Nos observations suivantes sont la stricte vérité. Nous n'avons aucun intérêt à critiquer ce gîte plus qu'un autre. Gîte sans terrain. Uniquement une terrasse en bois surélevée agréable Maison sur 3 niveaux accolée des deux côtés Une véranda avec un barbecue interieur plutôt agréable et claire Le reste de la maison est sombre. Les meubles marrons accentuent ce manque de clarté Les lits ne sont pas de bonne qualité. Ce gîte n'est pas propre. Poussière sur les meubles et dans la salle de bain.certains meubles sont collants Gite insuffisamment aéré ce qui entraîne des odeurs de renfermé. Peu de casserole pour cuisiner Autrement, vaisselle propre et abondante.
