Nice 2 room apartment located at the gates of Medina, the ancient city of Essaouira. Hyper central district, all shops, amenities and monuments of the city within walking distance, as well as the port, the ocean and the beaches. Well served by public transport - bus, taxi, bus station 5 minutes walk. The apartment is located on the top floor of a well maintained small modern building and enjoys a large sun terrace with unobstructed views.

Very cozy place, nice host

Hassan, the owner was responsive from beginning, helped me to find the property after my arrival. The location was very practical and really close to Medina. Appartement super clean and practical, I felt very comfortable there.

Great affordable self contained apartment . The roof terrace is across a hallway from the apartment and has a good vantage point of the modern part of the city and surrounding hills. It is shared which we had not realised . Hasan the host is absolutely fantastic

The Medina is an enormous shopping option. There are small food minimarts a block away. Carrefour is a 1 taxi ride. The apartment is very homey and comfortable. The couches are great, nice water pressure and hot water, complete kitchen and the bed is fine.. Hassan is there when you need him but never intrusive. The only reason I gave the location 4 stars is because it is a walk of maybe 10 minutes to the Medina and also to the beach. But an easy walk with sidewalks etc. The long street to the left of the apartment has lots of shops for regular clothing and food and a bank. It is not a touristed street so you have the benefit of being on the street with locals going about their daily lives. It also has a produce market on the far end. I would recommend this apartment for guests who are looking for simplicity, comfort and a good location near the beach and Medina. Essaouira is definitely worth a visit . I was here for 5 weeks in this apartment and would be happy to stay again.
