It was a lovely, well-appointed cottage with everything I needed for a short stay. Large, clean, and easy to access. I do prefer a much cooler sleeping temperature than the AC was pre-set to, and I could not find the thermostat, so despite using all the fans I didn’t sleep well due to it being so warm. But that’s perimenopause, not the cottage itself. I will definitely return to stay in the Element Cottage if I have the opportunity to visit the wineries again.

Hidden Gem in the heart of wine country!

A wonderful cottage close to element 79 with a great set up that was comfortable for us and our 8 week newborn to share. Plenty of space heaters to keep us warm too :)

The property was perfect for us. It was a great location. Close proximity to the wedding we attended and so many wineries nearby! The place was extremely clean, well decorated, and plenty of room. Les and Sharon were great hosts! Very friendly and so easy to communicate with. Their winery, Element 79 was amazing as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. I highly recommend this property!

We called ahead since we would be checking in after 7pm and we were sent the check in process. It was straightforward and waking up to the scenery was beautiful.

Nice retreat near multiple wineries

A great stay with only minor issues: (1) gate code was very temperamental and (2) you have to pull the cottage door towards you when trying to lock the door. Love the location. Close to wineries and a gas station.

No kids weekend

We always love coming to the Fairplay area. This was a new place to stay for us and we really enjoyed it. It has everything you need in a beautiful spot. Our only complaint is that the bed is really hard, too much for our liking. Get a foam mattress topper on there and it would be perfect.

Beautiful place

This was such a cute little cottage! It was our first time away in almost 3 years since we have kids so it was very special. Kelly allowed me to check in early so I could decorate the room to Surpise my fiancé . And when we got there, there was a welcome board personalized with our names and a bottle of wine for us to enjoy. It couldn’t have been any more perfect.

The Cottage

The cottage was perfect for our short stay. The owner was very flexible with our changing arrival time. The one thing that maybe could be improved was the directions to the actual cottage once you are through the gate. We missed the immediate left turn ( was not it the directions) and since we arrived after dark it was a little more challenging to find the access. But we found it fairly quickly and enjoyed the place very much. Thank you!
