Brand new, custom built, fully furnished 2-bedroom carriage house in South Minneapolis. Combines Dutch Colonial charm with modern amenities. Warm and inviting, located in a historic neighborhood with excellent access to Downtown Minneapolis. Spacious rental for up to 6 guests is situated within 1-2 blocks of fantastic restaurants and coffee shops.

Kingfield Cottage includes full kitchen, washer/dryer and detergent, front porch, smart lock, access to a gas grill, free street parking, coffee pot and coffee grounds, luggage racks, pack and play, portable high chair, microwave, toaster oven, dishwasher, fire extinguisher, first aid kit and central heating/air conditioning. King Cottage utilizes trash, composting and recycling. The rental is cleaned with chemical free products and bedding is washed in scent free detergent.
Strict house rules include no smoking, no pets and no parties/events. Hosts live in a separate house on the property for convenience and assistance as needed.

Perfect stay!

Great little place to stay close to downtown. Very inexpensive compared to other down town listings. Everything was fully stocked. Check in and check out weren’t complicated. Definitely will be staying here again when I’m back in town.

Home away from Home

We enjoyed the stay at this cottage. It is a beautiful home with a fully stocked kitchen including cooking utensils, spices, and dishes. The shower has perfect temperature and pressure and bathroom included toiletries items that might be forgotten at home. I gave one star just for the street parking and walk behind the house which wasn’t difficult but also not ideal.

Great place to stay

My family and I flew in for a Vikings game and this place was a perfect place to stay.. the stadium/douwtown was about an hour walking distance which was nice to be able to adventure/explore the town. We will definitely be looking to stay again next year if we come in for a game.

Back again!

We finally had a chance to come back to Minneapolis and were glad to find we could stay here again. The location is reasonable distances from just about every place we wanted to visit.

A Wonderful Stay

This was my second stay at this location, and it was as welcoming as it was previously. Everything was clean, entry was easy, and my two granddaughters, ages 7 and 4, loved staying over -- first time sleeping in bunk beds! Steve was very helpful when the dishwasher failed to start, and I enjoyed the stay from start to finish!

Clean and private

This is separate guest house from the main house and for that reason is nice and private. It's clearly well cared for and clean. The neighborhood is what I would term as gentrifying, with newer construction starting to refresh some of the aged parts. Overall recommended!

Perfect

This had everything we needed and was in a convenient spot! Well stocked on essentials and the rollaway bed was very comfortable! Make sure you use google maps and park as close to the curb as possible during snow. Apple Maps wasn't able to find the house and my side view mirror was taken off by a snowplow but no fault of the owners. Would stay again!
