The only issue is the single washroom located at the 2nd floor. It would have been better if there is a powder room or another washroom at the main floor. Also, the vanity sink at the washroom is always clogging. But over all the place is good.
We had a great holiday at this cottage and the location was breathtaking! The cottage itself is rather old and rustic and the furniture was a bit sparse, but that is probably because they are trying to sell the property. There was no TV, which was fine as we brought our own and we had some camping fold up tables which we used a lot.
We enjoyed paddling and picnicking on a lovely island in the lake. The little beach was beautiful for swimming and we enjoyed playing Scrabble on the picnic table there. Karen and her husband were terrific. We had one problem with hot water that was promptly fixed. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would return again if this property was available in the future.

Thanks so much, Bev, for the great review! Glad you enjoyed your time with us, you were excellent guests. Sorry about the furniture being sparse! We hope that what's there is at least the basic necessities... if we decide not to sell the cottage after all we'll furnish it better for your next visit! Thanks again for staying at our cottage, we love the view there too and enjoy the lake as well. You're welcome back anytime!
I was surprised of owner's organization. She was so polite, kind. The cartage was amazingly sat on a hill close to a beautiful lake. That was an incredible trip for me, my family and friends.
