A rare property right on 6th Street in the heart of the West End! 2 bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom, plus a twin daybed in the living area. The front patio is private, overlooking 6th Street with seating and lighting. A fully stocked kitchen and breakfast area make it easy to entertain and cook your own meals. The laundry room has a full size washer and dryer and everything is provided to do laundry. Easy parking. Bathrooms and kitchen are newly updated, beautiful hardwood floors, lots of light and located in the coolest neighborhood in the Live Music Capitol. Walk to bars and restauarants, Whole Foods, Waterloo Records, boutique shopping, Auditorium Shores (ACL), Lady Bird Lake Hike and Bike Trail and Zilker Park.

Delightful

We stayed here for a long visit to Austin. This house is in a perfect location - easy in and out and within walking to great food/drink options. The owner is delightful and has stocked the house with everything you need!

Austin 6th Street

Very nice stay, Kay was great and very helpful. Can't beat the location if you are looking to hit all the 6th street and Downtown restaurants and music venues.

Great location and host

Very Cute House in Cool Neighborhood

Kay has a very cute bungalow house. It is within walking distance of restaurants, shopping, galleries and clubs. The furnishings and decorations in the house are chic and hip with a nice homey bohemian vibe. We had an excellent Austin experience staying here.

Easter Hideaway

We loved this little place. Plenty of space for the four of us (3 adults 1teen). We enjoyed the front sitting area, the bar across the street, and the proximity to town. Parking was super easy in the back.

Excellent Place to Stay in Austin

Probably one of the most comfortable and well appointed VRBOs I have ever stayed at. Our host, Kay has thought of everything. The home with two en-suite bedrooms was perfect for our group (two couples) and it is conveniently located to take in the sights, sounds, and food of Austin.

Great Location

Located close to city center in a quiet neighborhood. We walked everywhere and had a great time exploring the downtown and UT campus. Close to a nice nature trail that goes along both sides of the river.

We’ve visited Austin a few times and this has been our best stay by far. A comfy well stocked house with the perfect touches to elevate it to another level. A short walk to some of the best Austin has to offer.

Cute bungalow within walking distance to some great Austin delights

Four friends on a vacation. Host was excellent and very responsive. The whole experience was great, and the only reason it did not receive a fifth star on location was the traffic noise was a little much at times. Bring earplugs or white noise to cancel the sounds. Otherwise, cannot recommend this place enough.

Very Comfortable

Was a very comfortable and well appointed house. The neighborhood felt safe and was convenient to a lot of activities that we did. Traffic noise was certainly there but did not affect our stay. Beds were very comfortable and Kay was very responsive to our needs. Would definitely stay here again.

Kay was a wonderful host! The house is absolutely perfect. Location is fantastic!! We were sad to leave this house & this city! Probably one of our favorite vacations thus far. The bar has definitely been set!

Kay's property was a beautifully decorated with and included everything we needed from high quality bathroom products and plush towels to beautiful furniture with a record player and speakers for music enjoyment. She was a great host herself and was quick to provide recommendations for restaurants and other local necessities. The experience was a truly a joy, and we would love to stay at this property again!

The Happy House location just cannot be beat. You can literally walk to anything fun or interesting you want to do. This neighborhood is sweet and easy to navigate and the house is super cute and well laid out. There is plenty of room and it's very comfortable, I have provided everything I can think of and constantly strive to improve.
