Great scenic national park experience

Very remote lodge in Mesa Verde National Park. Beautiful scenery & panoramic views.

Can't really see the mile markers, so check odometer for 15 miles in. Nice place to stay and close to all you will want to see.

Mesa Verde stay April 2023

Stay was great. Their mile signs are low to he ground and hard to see. Can't call because internet is sketchy. Other than that, the visit was good.

Unsatisfactory experience

Motel is in Mesa Verde, where there is not internet service, so communication to VRBO host is not available before check in. We were not sent check in details which required driving out of the park to get after a long day of hiking. We had no hot water (desk attendant did not care), no ice except at the front desk and dining at lounge was chaotic. The facility is lacking. First experience of an unsatisfactory stay at a VRBO.

Epic Fail!

The property was closed, so we never stayed. If you want to stay at Mesa Verde, book through the lodge itself. I emailed earlier in the week as I know the lodge is closed most of April. I was assured it was open for this VRBO and assured there would be someone at the front desk. Room picks by Victoria seemed like a scam. I drove back home for 2 hours. Oh...and this trip was for my husband's birthday. Epic fail! I should be reimbursed as I currently have a claim in with VRBO to get my money back. My time and money were wasted . My husband's birthday was spent driving back home.

Peaceful and unplugged

quiet and peaceful, just the reason why you go to a National Park. The restaurant at the Inn was Exceptional, best 2 meals of the entire vacation! No TV, no noise, just beautiful peaceful skies full of stars! We look forward to returning some day!

Gran & Grampy out and about

Property is as stated and is part of the Lodge in the Mesa Verde National Park. Property was clean, front desk were great and knowledgeable. Dining was the biggest issue since we were not aware you had to make prior reservations to dine in the main dining room. The Lounge upstairs was available so all was good.
