9 comfortable bedrooms, 6 baths, 3 kitchens, 20 bikes, and 20 beach chairs

In Cape May proper, this large, wonderful cottage comfortably sleeps up to 22 adults and is perfect for an extended family reunion or a retreat with lots of friends. There is plenty of room in multiple bedrooms for portable cribs for your infants. Two bedrooms have private baths. With 2 indoor dining areas, 2 living rooms, a large covered front porch, and 2 covered rear decks, it has plenty of space to congregate. Both rear decks have ocean views. Gas BBQ and outdoor range are provided in the rear yard for grilling. This house will be your home away from home with all the comforts you need.

It is so close to the beach you can hear and see the ocean while relaxing on the rear decks. Enjoy your morning coffee watching the sunrise or stroll 400' feet to the beach and promenade to watch the sunrise or sunset over the ocean. Both are magnificent. Harry's restaurant and liquor store is on the block, and it is just a few short blocks to shopping, restaurants, Victorian Cape May and the Washington Street Mall. Come relax, lounge on the beach, swim in the ocean, dine in, dine out, and enjoy all the pleasures of Cape May and it's gas lit streets.

Our rental also includes use of 20 bikes, 20 beach chairs, 2 beach carts, 2 beach umbrellas. A play wagon, toddler beach chairs, portable cribs, booster seat, and bikes with training wheels for the little ones are available upon request at no additional charge.

It is customary in Cape May for guests to bring their own towels and sheets. Blankets are provided. Laundry machines on both floors make life easy if you like to wash your clothes or linens midweek.

Perfect Place for Family Get Together!

We had a family traveling in for a 1 week family vacation and this house perfectly met our needs. Could not be closer to the beach, walkable to Washington St. Mall, and fully stocked with things you need. Would definitely rent again.

Amazing stay at the beach lodge!

My college girlfriends and our families (14 adults and 5 kids) rented Brian's property for a week in Cape May and it was so wonderful. The location is perfect, proximity to the beach and a great walk into town. The house is fully stocked with everything you need. I really don't have anything negative to say about the rental, we had a blast and would love to rent again!

Family Thanksgiving

We were a family of 20 celebrating Thanksgiving and our 30th anniversary as a family. The house was just perfect for us. Plenty of beds and baths. 3 kitchens to cook and lots of room to spread out. The hosts were super responsive and we definitely appreciate them for giving us the opportunity to come together.

Med school reunion

Great house for a reunion with 7 old friends. More than enough room for everyone and great spaces for hanging out in a large group. First trip to Cape May for most of us and we could not have been happier. Highly recommended.

Sea dragon perfection

Our family LOVED our visit! Location is fantastic being only a block from the beach and walking distance to many restaurants and activities. We came for our parents 50th wedding anniversary and we all had such a fabulous time. The house is very spacious and accommodated 20 people wonderfully and we never felt over crowded. The outdoor decks/porches were perfect with the ocean breeze. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Brian and his responsiveness. He answered all my emails very timely and gave great suggestions. Thank you for making our stay so memorable!

Perfect Family New Years Stay

We recently spent New Years at the Beach Lodge in Cape May. The house far exceeded our expectations, and the photos do not do the house justice. The house itself is absolutely charming and very well stocked. They had everything we needed, there was nothing they did not think of. The location is perfect. It is a block away from the beach, within walking distance of restaurants and shops. There was plenty of parking both in the driveway and in the street. Brian and Virginia were exceptional hosts, by far the most wonderful of any I have ever dealt with. They were incredibly responsive and accommodating. You can see they take great care and pride in their home. You feel the love and warmth, we all loved the family photos of past guests hanging in the hallway. We especially enjoyed the fire place, the many bikes at our disposal. There were two living areas which was great for the multi generational group. The house had 3 kitchens. Every bedroom was a good size. It is so much bigger in person than what I envisioned from the photos. Our kids enjoyed bike riding through town. Cape May is very safe and beautiful this time of year. I think we have just started a new family tradition. We highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. It is the perfect place to unwind and create lasting, wonderful memories! Thank you Brian and Virginia for making this an incredible trip!

Look no further

Look no further I cannot say enough about this property. The pictures do not do it justice. We were a group of friends that stayed for a long weekend in the spring. The kitchens are so well appointed, the house was so comfortable, everything you could possibly need for a fun time is there. Just bring your smiles and your willingness to have fun and or relax and that is all you need. Everything else is in this fabulous house. We will certainly be back!
