Summary:
House is 1248 sq. ft. with rustic and industrial touches. Full waterproof flooring throughout the home. 3 bedroom house 2 room have a queen bed, and twin bed. One room has a king sized bed. 2 full bathrooms, fully stocked kitchen for all your cooking needs. Foosball table and large couch(Couch was changed from a red to a grey in same style. Feb/25). Fur kid friendly, 2 fully fenced yard areas, large pet door, BBQ grill, and patio furniture. Finish your adventurous day, in the large hot tub!
The Space:
Welcome to Calley Dreaming! We want you to enjoy all the things we love about this amazing town! Our general rule is treat our home the way you would like your home to be treated. I hope to build a lasting relationship with you. All while providing you with a place to build those memories with your family and friends.
The Kitchen- is fully stocked with all the things you would need for family meals, or a romantic dinner. Including a crockpot, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker (coffee grounds provided), dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and basic bakeware. We like to have a take some, leave some mentality, with spices and basic condiments. Paper towels, dish soap, dish detergent pods, sponge and trash bags are all provided. Please do not abuse the amenities.
High chair and pack and play are always at the home.
Living room- wood burning fireplace, smart tv to stream all your favorite apps, large cozy couch, foosball, & a pacman multi game arcade unit.
All bedrooms are located on the second floor. All sheets and blankets are provided, each bed has an extra blanket located in the dressers. February 2022 new plank flooring on the entire upstairs area!
Note- You must walk through bedroom 2, to get to bedroom 3.
Bedroom 1- Has a king sized bed, closet, and dresser. Access to the Jack and Jill bathroom.
Bedrooms 2 & 3-Each has a queen sized bed, a twin bed, and dresser. There is a bunkbed in bedroom 2.
2 Bathrooms- One located downstairs, the second is a Jack & Jill bathroom upstairs, connecting bedroom 1 & 2. 9 large towels are provided, along with a few hand towels and washcloths. Cotton rounds, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, toilet paper, are all provided! Once again be kind with all the amenities.
Pets(Dogs only)-Our fur kids always join us in our journeys! We hope yours do too! For your fur kids comfort there is a doggy door (large), and a fully fenced yard, front and back. Our fur kids definitely enjoy the dirt during our visits, so we ask to keep the pups off the couch and beds. There are many wild animals in Big Bear, please be mindful, for the safety of your fur kids. Potty accidents happen, tile flooring covers the entire downstairs, with exception of rugs. If there is a potty accident please clean it up. There is an extra charge for any accidents not properly cleaned, including pup poop left in the yard. There is sap producing trees in and around Big Bear. It is your responsibility to make sure your pets are safe and cannot get out of the yard.
The Yard is surrounded by a 6 ft fence for your private backyard enjoyment time. The yard has wood chips to lessen weeds, and dust. On top of the large deck, is a large 6 person patio table. Propane grill for grilling up all sorts of yummy food. A large hot tub is set up on the deck for you to use(7a-10p per county). Please be mindful of lotions and oils. There is a charge if you misuse the hot tub resulting in the need to be drained and cleaned. Propane fire pit is provided. We do provide propane tanks. Please check the levels upon check in, we reimburse tank swaps at check out, with picture of receipt.
Location- We are located 5-15 minutes from everything Big Bear valley has to offer. 5 minutes to local grocery store, lake access, snow play (go carts & tubing) and hiking trails. 10 minutes to Snow Summit and Bear Mountain. Walking distance to convention center( Oktober Fest, Farmers market, and weekend bbq). Don't forget to visit the charming Village which is full of pet friendly shops, and restaurants also just a short drive.
Entertainment- 55' Smart TV, wifi, basic cable, dvd player and wood fireplace. Wood is not provided, it can be purchased locally or brought. All fire tools are provided.
We are confident you will enjoy your stay! We are constantly trying improve the amenities and overall experience.
Also note that Big Bear is a mountain town. Our cleaner does amazing work, but there is bound to be random dust, dirt, pine needles, pine cones, birds, and animals of all sorts randomly. We try to control every aspect for the best experience, but occasionally things do go wrong. Please reach out if you have any questions! Or have stayed and have suggestions. If traveling in summer. Like most homes in Big Bear there is no AC. Fans are provided.
If traveling in winter, we highly suggest purchasing trip insurance! We have a strict cancellation policy and will stand by it. Winter months can be challenging with snow, ice, road closures, and other things. Cover yourself by purchasing the trip insurance.
We do not waive cleaning fees. We do this to ensure every single guest has a clean and consistent experience. All linens are provided fresh for each guest.
Guest Access:
You have access to the entire home. The shed is the only locked space.
The Neighborhood:
The house is located on a busy side street. At night it's very quiet, however during the day it is busy. The house is pretty well sound protected, unless you have windows and doors open. Most homes in the area are full time residents.
Walking distance to the convention center, a mercantile, and a few great restaurants. We will send an online guidebook upon booking with all our favorite places.

Reminder- This is the mountains. We do our best to control what we can. We spray and leave bait for pests, do our best to prevent rodents, and remove weeds throughout the year. Most of our homes do have sap producing trees.
San Bernadino County Good Neighbor Policy
We want you to have the best experience possible so you’ll come back to visit us again soon. Here are some tips on how to avoid some of the common complaints we get about short-term rentals. The number one rule to remember is being a vacation home renter also means being a good neighbor.
PARKING (3 vehicles only)
All short-term renters must park on the rental property. No street parking is
allowed. The number of approved spaces for your rental can be found on the information posted inside the unit.
NOISE
We know you have good taste in music, but your neighbors might not. So turn down the volume and keep all noise to a minimum. Guests are advised to adhere to quiet hours between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m.
PETS
Pets are required to be leashed or kept in an enclosed area on the property at all times. Dogs are required to be licensed. Barking or other animal noise may result in noise complaints.
TRASH
Please place all trash in approved containers. Ensure containers are closed to
keep animals out. Do not place trash bags or other uncontained trash anywhere on the property.
OCCUPANCY (8 including children and infants)
Exceeding the occupancy limit could result in expulsion from the rental, fines, or both. The approved number of people allowed in the unit can be found on the information posted inside the unit.
PROHIBITED USES
Short-term rentals may not be used for commercial purposes, such as filming, corporate retreats, conferences, or wedding receptions.
COMPLAINTS
The County operates a 24-hour hotline where residents can report short-term rental violations. All complaints are investigated and can result in a $1,000 citation.
