Simple, it has all you need to have an awesome time.
Check in was easy and we were even able to check in early. It had all the essentials needed for cooking, (cooked a few meals in) the king bed was nice & comfy. We loved the hot tub and the fence for our fur baby (our dogs name is Dixie, just a funny coincidence) & the temp cooling unit were both great amenities to have. We also enjoyed that it was in a very quiet neighborhood. We would recommend to others
This is a great location and easy to get in and out of. It's close to the lake and the hills. The only reason this doesn't get five stars is something out of the location's control, namely neighbors that let their larger dogs off-leash. It made coming and going a wonder if they'd be out there or not. Over our five day stay, we'd see the dogs running around. While they would eventually get called back, it was the state of wondering if that made it a challenge.Having a fully enclosed fenced area made things so much better and easier. The place is clean, well lit and the hot tub is a great aspect to the location. Want to say that working with Savvy Bears is seamless and easy. The team is quick to respond and really wants (and does) make staying in Big Bear easy.
This cabin was close to everything, yet quiet and very comfortable for our stay. Fully stocked kitchen, and other rooms with anything you'd need. Any questions were answered almost immediately. Appreciated the clean spa. Able to walk my dog around the area, with only 1 unleashed, but friendly dog, confronting us. Even enjoyed the surprise hail storm. Would love to return when we are able, if it's available.

Host interaction would be a plus, other than our first night we have not heard from them even when expressing concerns over some of the appliances

Dixie cabin
When we arrived everything seemed fine. Then when I was barefoot walking my feet were so dirty! Why you might ask? Because the floor was filthy dirty.
This property was a really cute place for my two friends and I visiting the area.
You can walk to the lake from the house!
The home sits at the top of a little bit of a steep incline, so chains or winter tires are helpful when it snows.
We loved grilling and spending time in the hot tub.
The only thing I want to give a heads up about to others is that the grill ignition is not functioning, so you must use a lighter to light the grill.
We also had a hiccup with no hot water in the shower, but the hosts were super quick to get the maintenance man out there, and he fixed it while we were out in the village!

The host is friendly and very responsive. The cabin works great for two adults and a dog. The location is great! Close to beaches, fishing pier, parks, provisions, restaurants, and shops. The neighborhood is mostly quiet. Cabin has good fans and plenty of lighting. All necessities are there plus a number of amenities. We really enjoyed sitting on the deck and the driveway to enjoy the fresh cool air.Upon arrival, the kitchen, bathroom and floor had been cleaned, but there was a layer of black dust on all other surfaces. I had to spend an hour cleaning. A good cleaning job from the rafters down and a coat of paint on all the doors, the woodwork and the deck will enhance the cabins appearance. Also, we suggest a deadbolt on the back door. Bathtub needs a non-slip bathmat. Those with difficulty walking may find the nearby incline of the road a challenge.
The bed was amazingly comfortable, the location is very quiet and conveniently located. The sweet touch of dog treat and human coffee. WiFi and TV pleasant surprise. The kitchen does have everything you need but maybe replace some pots. Overall, this space was what we needed right now and the price was perfect. The disappointment is with the fenced in yard. It is fenced in which worked out well for the dogs. There could be a better deck around the hot tub The space around it is all dirt. There needs to be a bath mat for the floor
Loved the hot tub. The main room was very comfortable and cabin had the expected amenities. Check in and check out process could be easier but overall a great spot.
